From first dates to double dates. Matthew is taking all of us to the rose garden, and although it hasn't been that long since we first visited we both feel completely new to one another. An elevated version of each other.

Matthew pulls on a crisp white shirt and I smile watching him doing up the buttons, looking down at it intently. His brunette hair, falling down onto his forehead. I ruffle his hair, it’s one of my favourite things about him. I like the whole package of course but his hair is wonderful.

With my towel still around me, it’s a new one, pink and fluffy I look over at my new chest of drawers and pull out a pair of holds ups with a matching suspender belt. Ive picked out the new black bra and thong to wear under my dress tonight sure that it will impress him. Leaving them on the side I contend with my hair blowing it out into voluminous waves.

Usually I’m not big on makeup; my routine is normally moisturise and apply some bronzer and mascara. However tonight I will be constructing a Smokey eye, red lips and even adding on falsies. It takes me a while, and I go through a few wipes but I manage to perfect the look.

Pulling the towel off slowly I stand in front of him naked as he sips his brandy smiling, I put on the new bra first, the black and red one. It makes me feel like a new woman. It's really pushing everything in the right direction. Followed by the suspender belt which I clip into the stockings and finished with a matching black thong.

Glancing up at Matthew I take in his expression and chuckle. He pauses just taking me in, I am sure he's actually lost for words. It's such a compliment.

I head over to the wardrobe which we now share and pull out my emerald green dress. It has a low neckline and is fitted close around the hips. I step into it feeling his hands on my bare back.

Matthew smiles looking over at me and places his hand on my thigh. I look out as the trees block out the light and the road becomes much darker. The country lanes are much narrower than the main roads and I smile over at him as the song finishes.

The pub is lit up in the dark and I see the rose garden is decked out with small fairy lights. I smile over at Matthew and he looks at me laughing.

"That was a sharp left" Malachi laughs talking to Matty who agrees with him. Matty genuinely laughs and has a joke with Malachi. He pushes his brown hair away from his face, and it’s a stark contrast to his tense expression when he is around Jay. He catches me staring at him and winks at me when nobody else notices. Lord I love him so much.

As we are shown to our seats I watch Rhea in her silver dress take in her surroundings and smile. Her light olive skin and dark hair shining in the silver gown. We're seated again near the back of the restaurant, inside the glass terrace. I glance up and take in the moon and stars shining down on us.

Matthew and Malachi order steak and begin chatting about university, Malachi is interested in art and so they hit it off. Rhea orders the lasagne and I go for a simple chicken dish. The bread for the table arrives and a jug of water. Alongside a bottle of Prosecco and two cokes. Rhea pops the Prosecco open and after half a glass I feel like I'm on a high. I watch Matty joking along with Malachi, they really get on which is an added bonus.

Matthew sitting opposite me, looks at me and holds my eye contact for a minute smiling. I try to imagine what’s going through this mind as he stares at me sentimentally. Before I can dwell on the mystery behind his eyes our mains arrive and we all tuck into our food.
