The first peep of autumn has arrived, I realise looking out of the window in Matthew’s bedroom. The trees are rustling slightly today, amber leaves dusting around the street. A small glimmer of sunshine still present to remind us that it is actually still supposed to be summer. Autumn is my favourite time of year, I deliberately packed my autumnal wardrobe when I assumed I would be staying with Matthew for a longer period of time.

I rummage through my duffle bag pulling out my tights and skirts. A baggy cropped jumper and a little collared jacket. Tweed mini skirts are a must on days like this one, this particular one is white and black flecked and cut in an a-line style. Hitting just below my bum. My jumper is another Brandy Melville favourite, baggy and cute and cropped just above my belly button. Black lace up boots complete my outfit alongside my Barbour jacket.

Glancing in the long embellished mirror I pull my hair into a style as it waves down my chest placing a burgundy Alice band on and two small gold hoops through my ears. I opted for a little bit of blush and pink lipstick today, just a touch of mascara.

Matty has made breakfast again, I make a mental note to make him food at some point as a pay back for feeding me for days. He's facing away from me at the moment, sipping his coffee as I walk down into his open plan kitchen. His jeans hang perfectly, not baggy yet not too skinny. His black jumper just skimming over his hips. I can't help but to watch him for a minute, pushing his hair out of his eyes, and even though he's not looking at me I can tell what his expression would be. Concentrating and in his own world.

My boots click as I walk on the tiles over to the table, completely drawn in by the toast and egg on the plate in the spot which has now become my own. I snap my fingers at him, teasing him as he stares at me. Eyes on my thighs and my skirt.

“Pull yourself together darling” I smirk at him as he blushes. Even though it's a huge compliment to put that expression on his face in the first place.

I take his plate as he's finished and load the dishwasher, least I can do is clean up right? Once I've filled the dishwasher I begin wiping down the sides feeling his arms go around my waist.

I smirk knowing that I will like wherever he takes me because I will be with him. He is great at reading people, what they like, what makes them smile. I'm just glad that I'm the one he wants to make smile.

We head to the door, it's becoming very familiar waking up here with him and spending my days with him. I really hope that's something we can make more permanent. Maybe I'm getting way ahead of myself. I'm just enjoying being in his company and I can't imagine not doing this with him. I've grown acquainted to him. And even though he often wakes me up in the night I would rather sleep in his bed than my own.

Eventually we are going to have to do something other than be with each other. It would be healthy for us to see our friends as well, I need to see Rhea soon. I just don't want to let go of his hand in case he starts telling himself that in my absence he either doesn't really need me or that he is not good for me. I also can't imagine spending a day without him.
