“ Are you ok? What happened?”, Leonard asked in concern as he made a quick glance at his goddaughter before looking back at the road in front of him.

“ A bee just stung my eye! It hurts!”, Cayela cried as she held a hand over her eye after she shut the window.

“ Oh for God sakes! Ok hold on, let me pull over for a second.”, Leonard said in concern as he pulled his car off the highway to the side of the road after shutting the radio off before putting his car in park while still leaving the engine running. Leonard then removed his seatbelt and shifted his body to where his knees were resting on the seat before he bent over and said, “ Ok let me see your eye.” Cayela moved her hand for a moment allowing Leonard to gently open her eye with his fingers. True to what Cayela said Leonard could see a little stub of a stinger sticking out of her eye. The area around it was starting to become a little irritated from the salty tears that Cayela was releasing from her tear ducts in addition to the stinger venom.

“ I definitely see a stinger stub sticking out. Hold on one second, I think I have a first aid kit somewhere that your dad put in here.”, Leonard said in concern as he started to look around his car for the first aid kit that Sheldon had insisted on placing there as well as everyone else’s cars in the group for safety reasons. Health and safety has always been very important to Sheldon not only for himself but also for everyone else he cares about despite the fact that his friends and everyone else preceiving him as a neurotic robot at times because of all his weird idiosyncrasies that make up his personality.

“ Yes, thank you Florence. Where did you find that?”, Leonard asked as he took the first aid kit from her.

“ Great, figures he’d put it there.”, Leonard said as he rolled his eyes before he placed the case down on the middle console and opened it up. He slipped on some latex gloves before he grabbed a small of tweezers out of the case.

“ Ok this might be a little uncomfortable for a second but I’m going to try to pull the stinger out of your eye Cayela. Just try to relax as much as you can. Here, you can squeeze this if it ends up hurting too much.”, Leonard said as he grabbed a stress ball out of his glove compartment and handed it to Cayela that he kept in there for whenever Sheldon was feeling very stressed out about something that was bothering him.

“ Ok now try to look the other way and hold still.”, Leonard said as he gently held her eye open again and moved the tweezers close to her eye. The moment they touched the little stinger stub and he started to gently pull on it Cayela squeezed the stress ball in her hand very tightly as she continued crying out in pain while trying to look the other way with her eye movements. Florence was on the verge of crying too because she began to feel so bad for her. She didn’t like seeing her best friend in so much pain and by the looks of what Leonard was doing she could only imagine that it had to be so if she had been in Cayela’s position at that moment.

“ It hurts!”, Cayela cried as she was trying to sit as still as possible while Leonard was still trying to get the stinger out of her eye.

“ Shhhh, I know I know. I’m not trying to hurt you. I almost got it, you’re ok.”, Leonard said in a soothing voice as he continued to gently pull on the stinger with the tweezers. When he finally got it out Cayela went to try to rub her eye but Leonard said, “ Ah ah ah don’t rub it Cayela! You’re just going to end up irritating it further. You don’t want to lose your eye sight because that won’t be good.” as he then put the tweezers down and grabbed a tissue and a small bottle of sterile eye drops out of the first aid kit. He handed her the tissue and she cried, “ What are you doing now?!”

“ I’m going to put some sterile drops in your eye to draw the bee sting venom out.”, Leonard said as he took the cap of the bottle off and set it on the console.

“ Is this gonna hurt?!”, Cayela cried as he gently tipped her head back a little bit bringing the bottle in closer.

“ It may sting just for a second but it will feel better afterwards. Now keep your head still and look up.”, Leonard said as he gently held her eye open once more and tilted the bottle down over her eye. The first drop stung pretty bad making her twitch just a little bit but the second one didn’t hurt as bad as the first. She continued to cry as Leonard let go of her eye lid making her squint her eyes shut for a second.

“ Alright I’m done, now blink.”, Leonard said as he put the tweezers and eye drops away before grabbing an eye bandage out of the case. Cayela started blinking her eyes dabbing away her tears with the tissue before Leonard gently placed the bandage over her eye.

“ A little!”, Cayela cried as she sat up with her leg starting to twitch a little.

“ Well what else do you think will make you feel better? Do you think you maybe need to be changed?”, Leonard asked as he looked at Cayela who was now hunched over with her leg still twitching and she was still crying her eyes out.

“ Well hold on, let me see.”, Leonard said as he bent over to check her diaper. He then said, “ Ok yeah you’re wet.” as he reached over her, unbuckled her seat belt and reclined the seat back helping her lie back not flat down but just enough to where he could unbutton her shorts and slip them off revealing her soiled brief. It was only after Leonard changed her diaper that Cayela finally started to calm down.

“ There, do you feel better now?”, Leonard asked as he sat her up, stripped the gloves off his hands and cleaned up the mess he made around his car.

“ Ok.”, Cayela softly said as she settled back into the seat and looked out the window. The rest of the trip home was completely silent. Shortly after they got home and Leonard got the girls down for a nap in Cayela’s room Sheldon, Leo and Dakota walked in to find Leonard sitting at his desk working on his laptop.

“ Bonnie & Clyde!”, Mr. Dreyfus and Mrs. Dawson said with smiles on their faces before disappearing behind the curtains as everyone in the audience gave a round of applause. The lights started to dim a bit and the music started up followed by a series of gunshot sound effects and strobing lights. Then it started with a back and forth number between a young Bonnie and a young Clyde played by two underclassmen: one from Northridge and the other from Pasadena singing about their hopes and dreams they wish to accomplish when they get older: Bonnie wanting to be a famous poet and actress and Clyde wanting to be a ruthless outlaw while shooting things with his father’s shotgun. This goes on a few turns before it ends with showing the young adult-like versions of themselves played by two eighth graders, again one from Northridge and the other from Pasadena on opposite sides of the stage as if they were singing together in the same room before the stage went dark setting off more applause from the audience. The scene opened up again and started from there. The whole gang and a few others were recording video with their phones, becoming very hooked on the performances. Leo, Sheldon and the rest of them were almost about to lose it when they eventually saw the first scene of Cayela and Kirby being on stage together for the You’re Going Back To Jail scene. As they watched these two engaging in dialogue and singing with each other along with the three other girls who were there too they were completely stunned by what it was they were seeing and hearing.

‘ Holy crap on a cracker! These two are freaking amazing! Kirby and Cayela are a perfect Buck and Blanche Barrow! These two are so much better at acting and singing than me!’, Penny thought in her head as her mouth fell open while watching her niece and her niece’s boyfriend moving across the stage playing their roles with so much effort put into it. More and more scenes went on making everyone laugh at the parts that were funny and silent during the intense parts of it. Eventually it came to the scene that was leading into the climax of the whole play. It started with the two couples dancing to a song and Bonnie showing off the fact that she was a ravishing redhead when it was suddenly interrupted by the cops starting to case the outside perimeter of the cabin they had been hiding in with loaded shotguns in their hands ready to fire at them. The 4 fugitives started to freak out trying to figure out what to do to get themselves out of there with the Barrow brothers shouting at the two girls to shut up and Bonnie screamed, “ They’re surrounding us! What are we gonna do Clyde?!”

Let’s just end this and start over like it should be!”

When the shootout had ceased Buck was laying on the floor with a gunshot wound to his head and chest with Blanche on her knees covered in her husband’s blood screaming her husband’s name and Bonnie had a gunshot wound to her leg screaming in pain as Clyde was attempting to pick her up.

The audience remained silent as they watched this scene unfold in front of them and listened to Buck softly say, “ I do baby, I do.” Tears started to fall from some peoples faces as well as Blanche started to sadly sing to her dying husband saying that the Lord’s light will shine down on him before Buck took his final breath and laid dead on his wife’s knees with his eyes closed. Blanche caressed his head as she buried her face in his blood soaked chest sobbing emotionally but then she shot her head up when several officers swarmed in with their guns pointed at her after one of them kicked the door in shouting, “ End of the line for you Barrow!”

“ No! You can’t do this to me, please!”, Blanche cried as the officer pulled her arms behind her back, pressing the backs of her hands together before taking out his handcuffs. As the officer told her she was under arrest while naming off her charges against her and slapping the handcuffs on her wrists she cried, “ I will never forget you Buck Barrow! I will always love you until my very last dying breath! Wait for me up there!” before she was lead away by the other officers, finger printed, mug shotted and locked away in a prison cell. Buck’s body was then stuffed in a burlap sack and carted away off the stage by two other guys dressed in black. Leo, Sheldon and the others started to shed some tears too during that whole scene because they were just so amazed by the realism that it seemed to display. After the short scene of the police discussing about what to do next with each other the next scene opened up to Blanche sitting on a hard metal bed with her head facing the wall while behind prison cell bars crying and the officer that had arrested her sitting behind his desk writing up a police report file on her.

“ You’re an a**hole!”, Blanche cried as she kicked the bars of the cell letting out a loud, “ Ow!” before everyone in the audience laughed at this. Blanche then laid down on the bed huddled in the fetal position facing the wall still crying her eyes out until a series of gunshots caused her to spring back up to a sitting position as the strobe lights were going off again. Clyde suddenly showed up with Bonnie carrying his shotgun in one hand and the ring of keys in the other. Blanche started cursing at him as he was trying to apologize to her for ditching her while trying to unlock the cell door. Bonnie was on the lookout but before they could do anything the two of them were suddenly shot dead too by the same officer that had killed Buck and arrested Blanche in the first place. Blanche tried to make her escape but was quickly shoved back into the cell and locked back up. The officer then threw away the key and left leaving Blanche to pass out on the floor of the cell ending the play as the lights went out. A loud roar of applause followed by some whistling and some interjections of “ Yeehaw!” erupted into the air as the lights came back on and Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley started to play as all the students came out onto the stage one by one bowing and curtsying to the audience. Everyone went even more nuts when Cayela and Kirby as their roles of Buck and Blanche eventually came out along with the two other students that played Bonnie and Clyde who bowed and curtsied to the audience. Kirby spun Cayela into him and kissed her dipping her down Hollywood style before he embraced her with smiles on both their faces and they did the same thing too. Then all of the students got in one big line along with their teachers taking one big final bow with each other before the curtains came drawing to a close.

“ I met her at a grocery store one day when I was out running errands with Mom and Dad. I was grabbing a carton of eggs out of the same refridgerator she was grabbing a carton of milk out of. We started talking which was little awkward at first because she’s got some form of Autism but then she gave me her phone number before she left the store with her parents. Since that day her and I started to hang out secretly with each other and our relationship started pretty quickly from there. No one really knew we were dating until one day her godfather caught us together when I went to go see her at their apartment which eventually resulted in the rest of their family finding out about our relationship. I got kind of scared at first because I was afraid that her dad was gonna beat me in the head for sneaking around with his daughter but surprisingly he wasn’t mad like I thought he was going to be. He was actually very respectful towards me and didn’t yell at us at all. They spent the whole day talking and catching up on important stuff with each other. As she walked to her door, stuck the key in and opened the door Leonard shrieked, “ We’re going down to the gym Penny! Axel just called and said that Dakota got hurt!”

“ What?! Oh hell!”, Penny shrieked as she dropped the bags onto the floor just inside the door of her apartment and slammed the door shut before she sprinted down the stairs with her friends and niece. Not long after they left the building the others found out about this too and soon they all met up with each other at the gym to see one of the worst sights in history ever. Dakota was out cold on the floor with several other people surrounding her including her coach Kenner, Artemis and Axel who was just pacing back and forth with his hands on the back of his head as he was trying to keep himself from going insane. EMTs and the Pasadena Police showed up shortly after the gang arrived. As the police were questioning the male fighter that hit Dakota in the face the EMTs started tending to Dakota with Kenner and Artemis just screaming at her telling her to wake up. Leonard and the others tried to get closer but Danny told them to stay back for the moment which caused Leonard to start freaking out even more thinking that he was going to lose his wife. Dakota was then lifted onto a stretcher and rushed outside to the waiting ambulance with the sirens blaring and the lights flashing brightly underneath the fluorescent parking lot lights. Everyone was screaming and running behind her as the EMTs were trying to give her CPR.

“ For God sakes Dakota please be ok!”, Leonard shrieked as his wife was lifted into the ambulance before he jumped into it too along with his friends, the emergency crew and his goddaughter. Kenner and Artemis jumped into Kenner’s pick up truck with a few of the other fighters jumping into his tailgate before he sped out of the parking lot following the ambulance down the road. Danny and the other officers followed after him.
