Once we arrived home at the lake house, Jay sat gazing at me starry eyed from his side of the car. He looked down at my converse and smiled before opening up my door and guiding me over to the automatic gates to the front of our property.

"Of course" I smirk admiring the booking reservation for a dance show in the Sydney opera house that he has booked for us. Thinking of him dressed up in a suit makes me smile and how I know that he will hold me in his arms all night long. Throwing my arms around him I kiss him and he giggles.

The sky darkening as we pull up and he helps me onto the deck. His arm swooping around my lower back as he guides me up to the property.

Normally when we go out out we get ready with our friends and pre drink. Tonight however it's just us, it feels special. After a light dinner, we throw together a salad. I’m aware of my skin tight gown and do not want to be bloating out of it all night long.

However standing in front of the floor to ceiling mirrors in our bedroom I glance at my reflection and smile pleased. With a deep low v back and a cowl neck front which shows of the perfect amount of cleavage, a gown that is most likely my most womanly look yet I stand and slide into my stilettos. Dousing myself in some perfume, Jay of course bought me some Armani perfume and it's divine I hear the door click and know that he is eyeing me up from the doorway.

Her hair straight and silky down her sides.

Glancing over his shoulder I catch his brunette locks first in the distance, the exact shade of golden brown that matches his tan olive complexion. Facing the other way and standing with Ross I watch as Matthew speaks with a couple of females in cheap dresses. Wearing his own khaki shirt that I remember from when we dated. Ross eyes me carefully almost making it obvious that he’s not interested in the women by looking away from them. However I’m positive that they can tell the amount of attention they get from girls, especially walking around together. It’s a step in the right direction that they are both moving on from me and I embrace the change looking up at Jay and smiling.

I smile up at him, unbelieving that he is mine. The number of girls that have looked at him is staggering. They see me, disregard me and double take staring at him. His chest and arms and his general drop dead gorgeousness draws in the eyes. Rachel jibes with Matthew about the blonde girl and he shakes off her comments saying that he was merely answering her questions. Ross looks down at my waist and I beg him in my head to stop staring at me.
