‘It is important to know the exact meaning of ‘sex’ before making any study or research on the same. Primarily gender comes under it. ‘Male or female or both or neither irrespective of the category it belongs. But the activity that the male and female beings whether they are humans or otherwise undertake for procreating also called as sex and such activity as sexual intercourse.’
Rose paused for a moment and sighed heavily. ‘Beginning is good! Charles began at the beginning.’ she thought and put herself into reading again. There was one hour or so of time to her to read that book and she has to read substantial part of it to satisfy Charles that she has interest on his book. There was a chance that Charles might ask her how much she read in that book and it was very important to read some of it atleast.
‘But the difference between humans and other beings with respect to sex. It has been proved amply that the animals do have sexual urge and the pleasure of the same as the humans do. In fact some animals are instigated to participate in more sexual activity and get more sexual pleasure than humans and Bonobos are the example to it. The main difference comes in selecting the mates. Humans must be moral conscious and they have to see that their mate should not be closely related them. It has been opined between the scientists for a long time that the animals also do have such conscience even it is not moral like in human beings but some subconscious to prevent defected posterity through closely blood relations, they don’t go to their close relatives, like sisters, brothers, mother and father. As the deformities in animals are quite rare it has been opined so. But some other studies proved it is not so between animals and even they do avoid having sex with their close relatives, they don’t bother to have it with them when a non-blood relative mate not available to them. The animals may have an inbuilt immunity from deformity to their posterity even though they have sex with their very close relatives also.
‘Animals do sex mainly with their bodies and the pleasure also limited to their bodies as it has been supposed that they do have very little mind. But humans do sex as much as with their mind as with their bodies. Men mostly want to satisfy their ego along with their urge as such they keep the women below and they themselves on the top while doing sex.’
It was certainly Charles’ presumption but not from any study or research, Rose thought in herself and smiled. Keeping the woman below is the convenient thing to do sex! Man could insert his thing into hers in an easiest way in such a way. She should argue with him and try to make change this.
The later sentences in it were appeared even more preposterous and insulting! ‘Women do like to be lower and inferior to men and their being under the weight of male while doing sex is mainly because of that. They mostly want to be inactive and passive while men are going on with the sexual activity and as men also want them to be just so, it does not create any conflict.’
‘How can he say it like that?’ Rose wondered in herself while trying to suppress her anger. This was also certainly an opinion Charles has got basing on his own experience with his own wife or some other one in her place but not basing on any research or study. Then quite automatically she thought about her own way of behaving during sex with Williams and to her irritation she remembered she also mostly remain as passive and inactive while he was doing things actively on her body. It was not so that she would remain passive like that all the time but most of the time it was so. Even then, when Williams was mildly mad and she used sex as a weapon to bring back his senses, once he galvanised into action she just remained as a passive observer letting him do whatever he wanted to do. But, she thought firmly in herself, just because of these limited episodes she must not come to the opinion that what Charles has written as right. It needs a lengthy discussion with him and if possible she would make him change what he has written. Then she forced herself once again to read the matter disregarding the invading thoughts.
‘Now we do consider when exactly this sex starts and with which it starts. It is wrong to think that sex starts especially in human beings when they reached a certain age or adolescence. It starts in them long, long before when they are just days aged infants. Sometimes the sudden standing up pricks in male babies is the sign about the sexual feeling in them and even we cannot find such sign in female babies they also do have sexual feeling in them just like male babies.
‘This is also without any support, without any basis. This book would be shunned without a second thought if it has been full of surmises and premises like these.’ Rose thought before continuing to read the next.
‘The only problem is; even sexual feeling starts in them at such an early stage in our life, we cannot identify it or acknowledge it for a long time, that means, boys cannot understand why their pricks suddenly stood up at the sight of tightly clothed or semi clothed women or when they have heard sex matters or when they saw such scenes in T.Vs. and movies and it generally happens in their eight or tenth year. Once they understood why such reaction in them when they have come into contact with sexual matters, they remember their similar reactions to such matters and it certainly perplex them. It is just because gradually boys and girls not only come to know about sex and the reaction in them to certain things but the morals, conditions and regulations also about it.’
Rose picked her lower lip between her teeth frames and put herself into deep thinking. Here it gives some meaning! She would agree the children do not know what exactly it is when they first feel sex and it may happen in any way to them. Where most possibly children come to know about the opposite sex? In the home itself! The first chance to them to be acquainted with the opposite sex is through their siblings and parents. Observing or touching innocently each other naked bodies, without knowing the siblings come to know about the opposite sex and some extent they may be sexually stimulated also. After the siblings the very chance that the children may come to know about the opposite sex is through their parents as there are certainly instances that the parents may become naked before their children.
Surprisingly in the next paragraph Charles discussed about that. ‘They don’t know at that time why their prick stood up when his sister touched his naked body or the prick itself as they don’t know then it is because of sexual stimulation but whenever they remember it in future they feel guilty and it is like in the matter of girls also. They don’t have pricks like boys but at the touch of their brothers they also do have certainly sexual feelings without knowing that it is sex. Sex cannot be ruled out at any stage in a human being life and it has mostly to do with the body than the mind.’
‘Here Charles is absolutely right!’ Rose thought. Mind does not play as much of a role as body plays when it comes to sex. Getting stimulated sexually to the body at the sight of or with the touch of certain things is without the permission of the mind. If two closely related persons come across all nude by mistake their bodies don’t bother about the close relationship but get sexually stimulated. Even they know it is incest they cannot stop from their bodies getting stimulated at the sight or by touching of their close relatives.
What’s the probable age to human beings to come to know about sex and acknowledge the sexual feelings in them? Probably it starts from age eight. The boys do start feel thrilling whenever their pricks stood up at certain things as they came to know why it is so also. They tend to do the things which give them such sexual stimulation and if the moral conscience does not start in them they may try to hug their siblings or parents for such reaction in them and it has to be understood that it is an act of innocence and it is better to make them understood what it is and why they should not do like that’
“What you are going through dear?” she startled and looked aside as Williams put his hand around her shoulders after placing himself in the chair next to her before asking that question.
Rose sighed heavily. “Did I say that Charles has been writing a book and emailed it to me to read?” she looked into the eyes of Williams.
“I think you did” Williams smiled.
“Now I have the burden to read that book also. Once I read that, Charles will have a discussion with me on that and make changes in it if necessary.”
“May I also read that book?” Williams removed his hand from her shoulders still looking into her face.
“Charles did not give permission to me to share it with anyone else. Unless he agrees, I cannot give it to you.” She closed the ebook in her tablet.
“Is he is not writing that book for larger public consumption?” Williams knitted his brows together.
“Of course, his main purpose behind writing that book is that. But it is still a draft and I cannot say whether Charles agrees of my sharing it with you or any other person.” Rose leaned back in the chair and adjusted herself for more comfort.
“I am not that much enthusiastic to read that book and you may give it to me after taking the permission of that gentleman.” Williams also leaned back in the chair. “Anyhow what is that book he is writing? On human psychology or animal psychology or something related to that?”
Rose laughed and said “It is about sex, the book’s name is ‘All About sex.’”
“What? What a psychiatrist or psychiatry has to do with sex?” Williams knitted his brows together.
“What psychiatry has not do with sex?” with gathered frowns Rose questioned. “Don’t you know that our mind plays a major role when it comes to sex? Mind is the main reason in the failure of the most of the sexual performances. We don’t come across that an animal has failed to do sex to its mate but there are number of instances that humans do fail in sex and in some cases they do result in divorces also. What is the main reason for it? Mind.”
“You may be right. I cannot argue on that.” Williams said and got off from the chair. “I have to put myself into action. I need to go early to the office on this day.” After saying that he went away from that place.
Rose also got off from the place where she sat and moved away from that place.
