Even I was flabbergasted, even I was more shocked, distressed, something stuck me just like lightening! That’s what made me remain calm rather than retaliating with him, denying what he has said.
That something was; Raja Prathap was very much confided and trusted this rogue! He always would try to take advantage of him and I did not know he was already taking that. Raja Prathap was such a good man, he must be cautioned off regarding this scoundrel and his brain needed to be washed and he has to be made to see the truth and only a very intimate person to him could do that and possibly his wife. Even I knew it was wrong and not right becoming the wife of him, I came to a decision suddenly.
“But I said to him that I am in love with someone and we both are going to marry very soon.” Indicating my consent in an indirect way, I said.
Then the sudden happiness in his face was profound. He kissed all over my face before saying “It is very simple to settle. I say to him that you were quite unprepared to marry such a great and rich man so said like that. I talked with you and made you realise how much he has been in love with you so you agreed to his proposal.”
He need not told me that it worked out and I knew that Raja Prathap would feel as much happy as this bastard now when he heard that so. It was just as expected and my marriage was performed with Raja Prathap. His old parents did not agree, his brothers did not agree and his other relatives also quite disagreed but going against all of them he married me. It did not surprise me much and I knew my beauty attract men to such an extent.
I was in a jeopardy and I just did not know what to do. I was feeling too much of disgust and hate I could not remain without loving Stuart also. It has become quite an impossible thing to me to forget the love I have felt on him at one time. Not just that I could not say anything about Stuart’s betrayal to Raja Prathap.
And even I know that my beauty was the main reason to attract Raja Prathap, he was just like a child and I could not remain without loving him also. I still could remember the first night of us and he was as much gentler as Stuart on the first night of us. I did not know how it has become possible to me but I enjoyed it with him not just with my body but with my heart also.
Stuart was very much careful and he has been taking every care that no one could know the relationship between me and him. I completely involved in the feeling that I was the wife of Raja Prathap and Stuart was only a servant to us. He asked me particularly to treat him only as a servant while I was in that house and I was just doing that.”
Then suddenly Emily, the daughter of Rose burst into weeping and Rose has to stop and rushed towards her.
“The devil knows the perfect time to disturb us both like this!” taking her into her hands Rose irritated.
“May I continue reading where you have stopped?” while Rose was adjusting on the bed and thrusting up the right breast of her into the tiny mouth of her daughter, Williams asked.
“Please, do so.” With a pleading in her face Rose said.
Then Williams took that book into his hands and Rose folded the paper where she was reading then before rushing to her baby. Williams still remembered where Rose stopped and started reading in himself from that part.
“What you are doing?” with gathered frowns Rose asked him.
“You asked me to read it myself, so I am doing that.” Williams smiled and said. “While indulging in such a work, it would be quite uncomfortable to you to read this.”
“My opinion is .....” Rose changed her daughter from her right breast to left breast. “.......that you read that book loud. The story so far is so much interesting and I also want to know what happened next.”
“You may read it when you get time, no problem.” Williams teasingly said.
“No, Williams I cannot manage to read like that. There is that blasted book of Charles also to me to read. You please go on reading that out loud and because of all my services to you, you owe at least that much favour to me.”
“Alright then, anyhow when you mentioned that Charles book I remembered something. Did you ask him whether I can read what he has written? I asked you to ask him about that.”
“For the last few days we both have become too busy in our work and we cannot get a chance to discuss about that book. I sure do ask him about it while we are discussing about that book and you may please go on reading.”
“Okay then” Williams sat on the bed as he found reading the book lying on the bed was uncomfortable. “I am just trying not to get emotional. I must say so far the story changed some of my perception of my mom.”
“I hope that it would be changed completely by the time we finish it.” As Emily once again slipped into sleep, she put her carefully in the cradle again, came near to the bed, got onto that and lied herself beside Williams. “Just go on and please don’t ask me to read it now as I am free of the trouble.” She yawned heavily.
“It seems that you may fell asleep while I am reading this book.” Williams also yawned heavily. “I am also feeling sleepy. Is it is not better that we read this book sometime later?”
Rose did not give any answer to that question as she fell asleep by that time itself. Williams also followed her suit after carefully putting the book in the drawer of the table.

“I found that not everything is alright just looking into your face” looking into the face of Susmitha, her friend Mallika said. “Tell me is anything wrong?”
Mallika came to the house of Susmitha for the first time after her marriage with Pallav. They both were talking sitting in the hall of the house after their lunch. Pallav was in the bank and his mother was taking rest in the nearby room.
“No, there is nothing wrong.” Susmitha was trying to be casual as she did not want her friend to know that her husband was not a man.
“Are you trying to be secretive at your best friend also?” Mallika said. “If you really have any objection to share your problem with me, I am not going to compel you.”
“I just don’t know how to express my problem to you!” with anxiousness in her face Susmitha said. “I never have thought that he would be such an incapable person. No one does get doubt like that looking at him.”
“What you are trying to say? It is quite confusing to me.” Mallika’s face was with full of confusion.
“For the last one week he has been trying but he could not do that even for once.”
“Is it is really so!” immediately Mallika got what Susmitha meant and then only Mallika understood why she was worrying like that. “Have you given full chance of him? I know there are women who are quite conservative and because of that husbands cannot do that to them.”
“I just opened myself before him so but.....” Susmitha’s face blushed to the deep “.....he could not even put it into that.”
“My god! It would be indeed a serious problem then.” Mallika’s face was with a horrifying expression. “It is not something that we can express to each and everyone also.”
“That is what making me worried to the maximum. I just want to hang myself thinking that my husband is a eunuch.”
“Just a moment! Don’t come to decisions like that” Mallika hastily said. She was such a good friend to Susmitha and her facing such a problem was indeed very much pathetic to her and the words Susmitha just said made her feel even more fear. “You know that my husband is working in a mental care. The doctors there look after the problems like these also. Why don’t you ask your husband to go and consult the doctors in that mental care?”
“I am not thinking that his problem is something that can be solved by a doctor!” with a disgusting expression in her face Susmitha said. “He is a born eunuch in my opinion.”
“Don’t jump to conclusions and there is no loss in trying.” Mallika said with firmness. “The mental care in which my husband is working is a very reputed one. If the doctors there also cannot find a solution to this problem, then itself you start worrying again.”
“Alright, I ask Pallav to go to that mental care and consult the doctor there.” After few seconds pause Susmitha sighed heavily and said.
“He just cannot go and meet the doctors there. It is a very big hospital and he needs prior appointment. I ask my husband to secure appointment with some doctor there and then you can send your husband to that doctor. In the meanwhile you may please prepare your husband also to go to that doctor.” Mallika said.
“Thank you very much for all the help you are doing!” with a grateful expression in her face Susmitha said. “I hope and wish that doctor should provide a solution to this problem.”
“Don’t try to make me distanced by saying thanks. As close friends it is our duty to help each other whenever one of us is in trouble.”
After talking some more time with Susmitha, Mallika left that place. Pallav was readily agreed when he was asked by Susmitha to go and consult some doctor in the mental care for his problem. He also did not believe that there was a cure to his problem but even it was quite uncomfortable to him to go to some doctor and explained him about his problem, he wanted to do that with a vain hope that he might get a solution.
The next day as it was nine in the morning Mallika phoned to Susmitha and said. “I can get the appointment of that doctor in the mental care on the evening of this day. But the problem is; you both should go there. The doctor said he needs to discuss with you also about that problem and then only he can give a solution.”
“It is my husband who has been suffering with a problem, not I.” Susmitha irritatingly said. “Anyhow if it is a male doctor how can I discuss anything with him?”
“I cannot say anything about that but it is just like that.” The way Mallika said that was indicating there was no way except that. “But I recommend you both to go there. My husband is saying that the doctors there are very much capable and they sure can solve this problem.”
“But how can I discuss about this if it is a male doctor?” what Mallika said put Susmitha also into thinking but still she could not discuss that with a male doctor.
“I don’t know whether it would be a male doctor or female doctor. If it is a male doctor you are not going to discuss anything with him and come back. As that mental care is not far from here also, I don’t see any loss in both of you going there.”
“Alright then. We both go there.” Susmitha said as if she came to a decision suddenly.
“Then all the best to you both. You know my husband and just ask for him when you go to that hospital.” Then she cut off the call.
