“You need not do anything in particular. Just close your ears smoothly and leave your ears to me. Just try to listen whatever I am going to say. There shall be all sorts of thoughts all the time but don’t worry about them at all. Just let them on their way. Your listening carefully to what I am saying would do its work.”
Rose straight took Nalini and Malathi into an adjoining room which was also air-conditioned completely and made Malathi sit in such a chair in which one can lean back relaxingly while keeping his or her arms on the hands of it.
“Alright doctor.” Malathi said closing her eyes leaning back in the chair relaxingly.
“Now I start” Rose stood just beside Malathi looking into her face and Nalini sat in a nearby chair observing everything curiously. “You are feeling absolutely relaxed and tension free! You are feeling your whole body relaxed! There are no troubling and tensioning thoughts in your mind. Whatever I am saying is straight going into your mind and your body and mind both oblige that.”
Rose paused for a moment observing the face of Malathi keenly. Her face was already calm as if that hypnotism took effect.
“Now you are taking a deep breath. You are filling your lungs completely with the outside fresh air.” With a small soothing voice Rose said but audible enough to Malathi. When Rose said the same thing again both Rose and Nalini observed curiously while Malathi taking a deep breath.
“Now you are releasing the air, releasing the air fast enough.” When Rose said it like that Malathi hissed out heavily as if she could not held that air anymore.
Rose made her doing that breathing exercise two more times.
“Now you are feeling your body heavy. You are feeling your body very much heavy. You want to sleep. You want so much terribly to sleep but you just don’t sleep. Your whole mind does concentrate on what I am saying. Your body and mind both do oblige my suggestions.”
Rose and Nalini both could observe Malathi’s effort not to fell into sleep.
“Your eyelids are becoming heavy. Your body is becoming heavy. Your body so terribly wishing to sleep but you don’t want to sleep. You just want to hear what I am going to say. You so terribly want to hear my suggestions and follow them.”
Frowns gathered on the forehead of Malathi as her effort to not to feel asleep became more.
“Relax! Relax! Now you are feeling relaxed. You can keep yourself on the border of consciousness and ready to hear whatever I am going to say. You just feel happy to follow my suggestions all the time.”
After Rose’s saying this some calmness was witnessed in the face of Malathi by both Rose and Nalini also.
“Now you are acknowledging that having sex at this age with other guys is absolutely wrong. You can control your body. You can go against your body’s terrible desire to have sex. You do feel happy in controlling yourself to not to have sex. Your self-satisfying method does give you the complete satisfaction.”
Malathi’s face was absolutely peaceful and calm while Rose was saying like that. After two or more times saying like that, Rose said. “Now I count five. By the time I say five you wake up completely. But you remember what I said and follow it diligently.” Then she looked into the face of Nalini with a smile and then once again turned to face Malathi.
“One. You are waking up slowly.” Rose said.
“Two....three....” after few seconds pause Rose said again still observing Malathi keenly.
“Four....five......now you come out of her hypnosis.” when Rose said after little gap in between the numbers, Malathi opened her eyes and looked into the face of Rose with a smile.
“It is indeed so good, so good to be hypnotised like this.” Continuing that smile on her lips Malathi said. “May I come out of this chair now?”
“Hundred percent!” taking her right hand into her hands and making her coming out of the chair Rose said.
“As I said before, three or more sessions like these are necessary to make you completely free of that bad habit. In the meanwhile you may have been forced to have it again but don’t be discouraged. Coming out of this type of a bad habit at once is not easy. But your strong wish and will play a major role.” Once those three were placed in their chairs they sat before, Rose said looking into the face of Malathi.
“I do remember this doctor.” Malathi said.
“Remember the other important thing also. Use the self-satisfying method even the urge is not much. Of course I agree it does not give you complete satisfaction but it will be helpful to you to desist yourself from that habit.”
“Okay doctor” Malathi nodded her head.
After talking some more time with Rose and taking some more directions from her, Malathi and Nalini left that place.

“I just cannot get time pass in my room so I came to you.” Slumping herself in the chair nearby to the bed in Prameela’s room, Evalla said. “If you don’t think as a disturbance, I want to spend sometime with you.”
Prameela was reading a book sat straight in the middle of the bed. When Evalla entered into that room, she perched her head up and looked into her face.
“I really enjoy it.” Prameela laughed and said while putting aside the book she was reading then. “You know I am reading this book as there is no time pass to me at present.”
“I think you are playing main role in the business affairs. Your dad said he cannot manage the business at all without your active participation in it.” Leaning back in the chair and looking into the face of Prameela, Evalla said.
“That is indeed an exaggeration!” Prameela smiled. “He made the business a lot by the time I completed my M.B.A. and started helping him. Not just me without anyone else’ help also he could take the business to formidable heights. He can manage it like that without my help also.”
“He is not thinking like that. He is quite often saying that you are a great asset to him.” Evalla paused a second before saying. “He has lot of love and affection on you.”
“That is the reason for his feeling like that” sighing heavily Prameela said. “Yes, you are right. He has lot of love and affection on me.”
Then Evalla adjusted more in the chair and a sudden uncomfortable expression came into her face. “Are you.....are you......really feeling good with me? No anger or hatred?”
Prameela got off from the bed and came near to Evalla’s chair. She took her right hand into her both hands and squeezed it gently before saying “get up”
While looking confusingly into the face of Prameela, Evalla got up from the chair she sat. Then Prameela released her hand and put her right hand around the shoulders of Evalla while continuing looking into the face of her.
“I want to be frank with you Eva, whatever you may think of. Come, it is better that we do talk sitting.” She made her sit on the edge of the bed before sitting on the right side of her and looked into her face straight. There was the same confusing and fearful expression in the face of Evalla. “I was just raged to the maximum when I heard that my dad married at his fifty years or so of age. I was raged more because of the reason that the love and affection he is showing on me is going to be shared by someone else than the reason that he married a movie actress who is two years or so young to me that too at his fifty plus. When I thought that he married you only for the fucking pleasure, with frustration I went to my friend and got myself fucked thorough. That gave some soothing to my body but did not alleviate my anger. I have felt the anger on my dad and hatred on you in the equal measure until my mom made me realise the point.”
“Your mom made you realise the point, I cannot understand!” with the same confusing expression, Evalla aksed her. Anyhow what Prameela told her just then made her feel hurt.
“Yes....” Prameela nodded her head. “It is not so that I did not think like that till then but my mom’s counselling made that thinking strong and I realised that I was doing a mistake. After my mom left my dad when I was just a three years child, you just cannot even imagine how much of struggle my dad did. I have become the whole world of him and the business also was next to me. At such a young age also, he not only did not think about a second marriage but not even try to have any woman relationship also. He is such a great father and whatever richness I am enjoying now is just because of him. How I ever can repay his debt? Whatever might be the reason behind for his marrying you so, if it gives him some happiness I should support that.”
“It is I who asked him to marry me.” With a small voice Evalla said hanging her head. “He has no idea at all to marry me until I asked him so.”
“You already explained that to me and now also it is amusing and surprising to me!” A small smile came onto the lips of Prameela.
“In fact I never was that much interested in acting and my entering into movie field was a mistake! That was why I could not put my heart in that and my first two movies which were heroine oriented were flaps. I agreed to act in the third movie just for money but because of my not feeling love on what I was doing, I could not perform better. Then the director and producer there, who was a good friend to your dad, started scolding me that much, I don’t know why your dad who was there could not bear it. He offered me a job when that director wanted to remove me from that role and I accepted it gladly.” Evalla did not know why she wanted to say that again.
“You did not say all about it before.” The smile was just so on the lips of Prameela.
“I was coming along with him in his car and in fact that was the very first time I saw him. But by listening to the talk of your dad and that director and producer I came to know that your dad was a divorcee. So I ventured to ask him like that while we were coming in his car to wherever he was taking me then.”
“Why did you want to ask like that?” Prameela slit her eyes with a surprising expression in her face. She did not ask this question when Evalla said that before.
“I cannot say, I really don’t know the answer to that question.” With a serious expression in her face, Evalla looked into the face of Prameela. “Even you think that I wanted to marry your dad only to share your wealth and richness, I don’t mind.” She paused for a moment as if she herself in confusion. “There was a strong desire in me to ask your father so. It was just like that I have met a person with whom I have destined to lead rest of my life. I felt as if I have been waiting for your father for a long time and my meeting him then there was not at all coincidental.”
“Surprising! Really very much surprising!” Prameela’s face was masked with surprise. “But I do believe you Eva, hundred percent I do believe.”
“I am very sorry for you. I can understand what type of feeling I caused in you without your telling to me. But.........” Evalla paused for a second before saying again. “..........I just could not remain without asking him so and becoming his wife once he agreed to it.”
