You....it is you.........” he did not know how he said it like that and his voice shivered while he was saying it so.
“I know that you don’t expect me to come like this.” Looking straight into his face, Charita said. “Anyhow may I come in?”
“Please, please come inside.” He gave her the way to come inside of his house while his heart was with full of shock and surprise.
“Where is your mother? Is she is in kitchen?” Looking at the four sides of the house she asked.
“She went into the village and it takes time to her return.” Even he was feeling surprise why Charita came like that, he was feeling happy also.
She went near to the chair he just vacated and slumped herself in it. “I think that you may be feeling so happy that I came like this. You may be assuming in yourself that I have come here to start my marriage life with you.” She said while looking at him.
“Even in my wildest imagination also I cannot think like that.” Sighing heavily Anirudh said. “No girl can live happily with one of her gang-rapists.”
“It seems you know very well how a girl feels after a gang-rape.” She was still looking into his face and said. “Then how could you do it like that to me?”
Anirudh did not know what to say to it and hung his head.
“I can say one main reason for that. You did not think at all that I do become your wife because of that gang-rape. The primary reason for you three to do such a thing on me was; you three were damn sure that I never tell that to anyone not to say to go to police.”
Anirudh still did not prefer to say anything and he did not even perch his head up.
“My whole family suffered humiliation for what you three did on me. In fact you people insulted us even more by giving money like that to compromise us. You have to be in my place to understand how much I suffered to agree marriage with you.”
“I absolutely can understand that.” Anirudh said that and dared to perch his head up and looked into her face. “And I don’t want to say I am sorry for what I did. A simple sorry cannot compensate even an iota of massive damage we have caused to you.”
“Why you have agreed to our marriage? Why did not you deny when it has been proposed to you?” Charita suddenly got up from the chair and she looked into his face. “In such a way I need not have felt like this. Anyhow you bastards know very well that I would not go to court after my parents were compromised like that with money.”
“I don’t know. I just don’t know.” With a helpless expression in his face Anirudh nodded his head. “I thought by marrying you I can repair the damage a little more caused by three of us to you.”
“You rascal! How you think getting a chance to fuck my ass everyday would be repairing of the damage you scoundrels caused to me?” she yelled and he did not know that she could use such language. “Only with the idea that you can fuck me every day, you have agreed to that marriage, is it is not?”
“No, absolutely no.” Anirudh vehemently yelled on hearing that. “Not at all that is the reason for my agreeing my marriage with you. Even we don’t have it for all lives together, there is no objection whatsoever.”
“Then what purpose our marriage shall serve! I never can live like a wife with you thinking what you did to me.” Frowns gathered on the forehead of Charita and in fact it was not the way she wanted to talk with Anirudh when she started at home to meet him. But while she was looking at him the old wound was raked up and she could not control her feeling.
“I just don’t know how to convince you. My present idea is only how to make you to satisfy your anger, your hate on me. If you feel happy in insulting me, scolding me or beating me just do that. I perfectly know what big atrocity I committed on you and I myself cannot pardon me for that. The only surprising thing is; how did I do such a thing on you however much compelling the circumstances may be.”
“But it is not just only you to quench my anger by scolding you or beating you. There are two others also along with you and what I can do them?”
“I don’t know.....I don’t know what to say to that.” There was once again helpless expression in his face. “What all I can suggest to you is to show only on me the whole anger you are feeling on those two guys also.”
Charita once again slumped in the chair, leaned back in that and closed her eyes. Anirudh went into the nearby bedroom, took a chair from there, placed it opposite to Charita before slumping himself in that.
“In fact I came here with a different purpose. I don’t want to talk like that but I just cannot control my anger while looking at you who gang-raped me with two other guys without bothering at all with my feelings.” she opened her eyes and said that while looking into his face.
“I can understand that pretty well and there is no mistake of you in it.” Anirudh said. “But if it is not too much for you, let me know the purpose behind your coming like this to me.”
“Whether with my consent or not, our marriage is over and I have become your wife. And sooner or later I need to start live along with you otherwise you may prefer to divorce and marry some other girl.”
“You need not feel fear like that at all. You never need to come to my house and live along with me with that fear.” There was suddenly firmness in his voice. “I never divorce you and there is no question of another girl either in my life or in my mind.”
A smile was forced onto the lips of Charita and they were parted a little. “Anyhow my parents want very much that I come to you and live along with you. I am thinking just because of their sake, I have to start living along with you however much difficult it may be for me.”
“We can live under the same roof just like strangers without any physical intimacy.” The same firmness was then also in his face. “Unless you want and feel it would be so, we are the wife and husband only to the outside world.”
“Then alright” Charita nodded her head “I shall try to come and live along with you. The main purpose for my coming here and talking with you,........” then she told him about her being taken to the psychiatrist Rose and that psychiatrist’s wishing to talk with him also. “.........I want you to come along with us to her tomorrow, do you have any objection?”
“No of course.” There was suddenly brightness in the face of Anirudh “What all I need to do is to inform my office that I cannot come on tomorrow.”
“I go now. Come to our house just by nine tomorrow morning and then we all can go to that psychiatrist.” And she turned back and started walking towards the doorsill and he also followed him. Just before crossing the doorsill and go out, she suddenly turned, put her both hands around his neck and kissed on his lips straight. Then left him with the same speed and went away from that place without looking back at all.

“I am feeling happy hearing what you said Rose. So that girl is coming here along with her husband. I never have expected this much can happen hearing her parents’ words. So the problem solved.” Charles face was with a happy expression. “They are indeed very concerned people to my relative.”
“Of course, it is a development Charles. I too did not expect this.” Her charming smile filled the lips of Rose. “But I am sure the problem has not been completely solved yet. That girl is with a sincere intention to help her family and not to create problems to it. So to some extent she is forcing herself to change.”
“Then what is going to happen in future? Is it is just temporary in your opinion?” Charles leaned back in the chair with gathered frowns.
“Remember one thing! She was gang-raped by three guys and one of those is her husband now. You can easily understand how much rancour a girl feels towards those. Just because he is her husband, all her rancour on him does not vanish completely this fast. As she is forcing herself to love him and live along with him she occasionally subjects herself to psychic attacks. You know very well what happens if we control and make our mind do something that it does not want.” Rose also leaned back in the chair and adjusted more in it.
“You are absolutely right Rose. I have to agree with you.” Charles stooped forward and balanced his arms on the table in between.
“The change that has come in her can be made permanent Charles. But her husband and other family members must be very careful with her. I need an elaborate discussion with her husband also. I have to prepare him for the possible consequences in future.”
“I need not ask you to do that” Charles smiled. “I know you do it in the best way possible.”
“She is the first patient to me on this day. Due at any moment, so I go and wait for them in my chamber.” Rose got off from the chair.
“Just a moment Dr.Rose.” when Charles said that Rose looked curiously into his eyes. “Spare just few seconds!”
With mellifluous laughter Rose slumped in the chair again. “I know what you are going to talk Charles. It is about the book you are writing ‘All About Sex’, is it not?”
“You got paranormal powers Rose, how can you say about it?” pretending surprise in his face Charles asked.
“I saw you struggling with your book recently Charles, so I guessed it like that.” once again she laughed. “Tell, what do you want to talk with me now?”
“Rapes and gang-rapes are also part of sex. I am thinking talking with this girl may be little bit helpful to me in sprucing up my book. May I do that?”
Deep frowns gathered on the forehead of Rose and she pursed her lips for few seconds. “At present it is not advisable at all Charles.” Rose said. “Once she becomes completely normal, you can but it certainly takes long time.”
“If you say like that, I don’t think about it at all.” With a disappointing expression in his face Charles said.
“But one thing I can promise to you Charles” Rose got off from the chair “We do have an elaborate expression on your book and think about these rapes and gang-rapes also then. As sex plays an important role on the mind, I also have to probe into it as much as possible.”
