Now the crowd there ventured to murmur a little and Lamba said irritatingly. “Ten acres of land! However much beautiful this girl is that is not my price for her first time.”
“Is anyone there to quote more than that for the first time with Samyavara?” looking around at the people Nuvvasuro said. “Everyone can feel free to participate in this.”
There were only murmurs among the people but no one came forward to quote more than that for her first time.
“First time of Samyavara is fixed with this great rich and noble man Tatapavo. This girl is going to have the honor to accommodate him for the first time in her life. Is there any objection to anyone to that?”
There were few murmurs again but environment became silent as Nuvvasuro started talking again.

“No one here dares to even imagine such type of a thing sir!” looking into his face with respect Nuvvasuro said. “Your words are as good as completed actions.” Then he looked at the crowd and rich people there again. “Is anyone ready to give more than seven acres of land and fifty tulas of gold for the second time with this girl?”
There were murmurs again but it was just like everyone expected. As some of the rich people were looking angrily and enviously at Tatapavo, the second time also has been confirmed for him.
“I offer five acres of land and twenty five tulas of gold” when Nuvvasuro announced the third time Lamba said immediately and when he looked into the face of Tatapavo there was pleading rather than anger. Tatapavo nodded his head and remained silent.
“Five acres of land and twenty five tulas of gold” looking around the people there Nuvvasuroa said. “Anyone is ready to quote more than this for the third time with this girl?”
There were murmurs again among the people there but no one came forward to quite more than that.
“So the fortunate person to have it just in the third time is the landlord in our village Lamba.” Nuvvasuro announced looking just like into the faces of the villagers there and there were no objections at all to that. Lamba’s face lit with pleasure then.
“The auction has to be held only for the first three times. After the three times it is at the girl’s discretion to decide her price and accept the men. The successful bidders can have discussion with the family regarding their times after paying the village’s cut. It is twenty percent of the price they do give to the girl and it can be paid from it.” Nuvvasuro said.
“At the value she is held; no common man go near to her for a long time.” One villager among them wailed. “It was not so with her mother. Even a common man also could have it with her.”
“I hope just in one year or so Samyavara’s price also comes down a lot and everyone of us can have her. But as per the rules of prostitution we cannot ask a prostitute lower her price and accommodate a man against her will.”
Most of the villagers and rich people left that place with dissensions and dissatisfaction. Some of the rich people who has it with Arimano came there with lot of hope in them to have it with Samyavara for the first time and they were just aghast as the price was that much! Anyhow they decided strongly in themselves to have her after her third time with the auction successful bidders at whatever cost may be.

“You cannot see, really you cannot see because of what all this has happened?” looking with knitted brows into her face Michivako asked her. “Have you become that much blind to the facts?”
“What you do really want to say?” confusion filled the face of Pilamavo.
“Amsara, it is all because of Amsara.” Michivako said in such a voice as he was saying a great secret to her. “We both have pleased him with our incestuous act that much; so he graced us in this way. If Amsara desires to grace their devotees, he graces them so grandly.”
“You are right my son, you are absolutely right.” Suddenly there was awe in the face of Pilamavo. “I must agree with you. It is all just because of Amsara. “So just because of the circumstances you do believe in Amsara. You don’t have heart-felt feeling towards him just like Okatho.”
“Oh, why do you say it like this? Whether forced or otherwise, now I do believe in Amsara and I want his grace but not his anger. Is it is not enough?” with an angry expression in her face, Prameela said.
“We hope that is enough.” Sadan removed her hand and leg from his body, got off from the bed and went into the bathroom nearby all naked like that. After coming from the bathroom he started dressing himself up.
