“Why do you trouble me for small matters like these also Charles? There are other capable psychiatrists here to attend this problem. I know my schedule is quite tight on this day.” When Rose received a call from Charles with a request to attend a patient, she said with irritation. She has no objection to attend patients with any type of psychological problems but for the present her day was crammed full with appointments.
“That girl is daughter of my sister and long back itself I told her a lot about you. She suddenly came and wants to see you for some of her psychological problem. Just ten minutes or so, she is not going to take much of your time. Please Rose.” there was suddenly pleading in the voice of Charles.
“Then send her immediately in Charles. I make the next patient to wait.” After saying that without hearing anymore Rose cut of her call. One thing she did not like was breaking her schedule and making her patients wait but on some occasions like these she has to do that. Before any other thoughts invaded her mind, the door of her chamber was opened and a girl aged twenty years or so entered into it. There was a small baby in her hands and without being told Rose understood that she was married and the girl in her hands was her baby.
“Make yourself comfortable in the chair. You need not tell me who you are. Your uncle Charles just talked with me and told me that you are coming.” After seeing the girl, the irritation in Rose was vanished and her charming smile once again took place on her lips.
“I am sorry doctor. I know you are a very busy psychiatrist and intruding like this without an appointment is quite inconvenient to you and your patients also.” After making herself comfortable in the chair opposite to Rose along with the baby that girl said. Because of the movements the baby woke up and started weeping. She opened her handbag, extracted a milk bottle from it and put the tit of it into the baby’s mouth and the baby started sucking on it vigorously.
“Male or female? How much aged?” with a curious expression Rose asked.
“One month aged male baby.”
“Was he named?”
“Not yet. Soon we are going to.”
“Anyhow you would have been named a long time back. May I know it?” Rose leaned back in the chair and once again a small smile came onto her lips.
“Assumption right! I was named as Charita exactly twenty one years back.” A small smile took place on the lips of Charita.
“Alright Charita. We straight come into the issue.” Rose adjusted herself in the chair for more comfort. “If you explain your problem to me, I shall see whether I can be any help to you.”
Immediately her face was filled with an uneasy expression.
“Dear! Your uncle said to me that you have been suffering from a psychological problem. Whatever it may be you can very freely discuss that with me.” Rose said looking encouragingly into the face of Charita.
“I just don’t know how to explain my problem to you.” By that time that baby stopped sucking on the tit of the bottle and slipped once again into sleeping. Chairta took the tit of it carefully from its mouth, capped it and put it again into her handbag.
“Why not you let the baby suck on you? Is there any problem?” Rose knitted her brows together fixing her gaze on both the child and the mother.
“Yes, there is a problem.” That girl said hugging the baby to her heart. “In fact to get a solution to that problem I came here.”
“I think I understood the problem.” Once again there came the small smile on her lips. “Still I want to hear it from you. Go on, elaborate.” Rose said.
“Doctor I am feeling very much uneasy to explain that problem to you. Let me know what you understood and I shall see whether my problem is the same. Then I can be saved from the trouble of explanation and uneasy feeling for doing that.”
“You are feeling sexually while your son is sucking on your breasts” Rose stooped forward and balanced her both arms on the table in between. “You are feeling it like incest and could not feed your child your breasts milk.”
“Exactly that!” Charita exclaimed. “You are absolutely right doctor. However much I do want I cannot feed my child my breasts’ milk feeling like that. I have been advised by the doctor and by my parents also that mother’s milk is so much important to the child. But I just cannot do that feeling so.” There was sorrow in her voice and her face was filled with an uneasy expression.
“Some mothers do feel like that and it is impossible to get rid of the feeling. Not just while feeding when the parent and child are opposite sex it is quite natural to have sexual feeling just because feelings don’t require your permission to enter into you. As it is something happening to you without your consent, don’t bother about it. You already did a big mistake by not allowing your child feed on your breast milk and at least start it from now on. As your parents and that doctor said, mother’s milk is very much important to babies until they get six months or so of age.”
“It is not so that I have not been feeding my son my milk. But as I am feeling quite awkward with sexual arousal in me, I am giving him bottle milk quite often ...........”
“When mother’s milk is available giving other milk is not advisable at all as it may lead to other types of problems also. If you are having sexual arousal and feeling while your son is having your milk, its alright. Don’t try to get rid of that and just let your baby suck in and gradually you stop feeling like that.” Rose advised to her.
“Is there no way at all that you can stop me from feeling like that? Cannot you program me under hypnosis not to feel like that while feeding my baby through my breasts?” with a hopeful expression in her face Charita asked her.
“You first stop feeling that is wrong. Irrespective of the relationship sexual attraction between the opposite sexes is always possible. It mostly related to the body and we cannot control our bodily instincts and it is better let them take place in its natural way. In future also you may feel just like that towards your son in some other ways also if you take your feeling like that in a negative way. Trying to get rid of your feeling in anyway even through hypnotism may make it more strong.”
“Why, why only I am feeling in this way?” the troubling expression in Charita’s face was intensified even more.
“Breasts are the main attraction to the male while doing sex and sometimes they suck on them also. Not all but some mothers do remember that while their children are sucking on their breasts and it leads to sexual feeling and arousal in them. If they do take it casual, gradually that feeling and arousal would not happen. Moreover.........” Rose paused for a second before saying again. “.............even that sexual feeling persists with your baby, just don’t worry about it but continue your feeding to your baby as long as it required. What all you need to do is give your milk to your baby whenever required and just don’t use that bottle anymore.”
Charita did not say anymore but reclined in the chair and closed her eyes.
“Just be brave and do in the way I asked. That is the best solution to your problem.”
Charita opened her eyes and opened her mouth to say something but suddenly then the baby started weeping again. She opened the handbag and tried to extract the bottle from it again.
“Stop that. Give your milk. Feed your baby through your breast.” Rose said with a voice like a command.
“But doctor.....” Charita tried to say something.
“Just do in the way I asked.” With the same commanding voice Rose said.
Then Charita unhooked her blouse and she wore a bra also inside. She indeed has to put an effort to free her right breast from the bra and put the tit of it in the mouth of the baby. As soon as it has been put in its mouth, the baby started sucking on it vigorously. After five minutes or so, Charita freed her left breast from the bra and baby started sucking on it also vigorously as soon as the tit of it was put into its mouth. After one minute or so of sucking on it, the baby fell into sleep again.
“Doctor I must say.” With a smile on her lips Charita said. “I am feeling happy that I could feed my baby through my breasts and I am confident that I can do that in future also. Of course the sexual feeling has been just so while my baby is sucking on me.”
“Don’t bother about it at all and I hope you do remember my advice.” Rose reclined in her chair.
“I hundred percent remember it and I just do in the way you advised.” Then she adjusted her dressing and said again. “I took most of your time but happy you gave me the solution. I go now.”
“And you can meet me for any type of problem at any time.” Rose said with a smile.
Then Charita went away from that room.
