Wun Siu Lan couldn’t sit still anymore when she saw Wun Fan’s figure. She lunged forward and tackled him to the ground, hugging him tightly as she sobbed, “You scared me so much, so so much…”
Wun Fan’s heartstrings were plucked once more. He returned the hug and said softly, “I’m sorry I made you worry.”
“You ate that pill, didn’t you?!” Wun Siu Lan’s eyes were pitifully red and swollen, but her teary eyes stared into Wun Fan’s heart. Something had suddenly happened to Wun Fan and according to the great elder, there had been a shocking burst of aura on that very night.
That very day, Wun Fan had met Wah Ling Yi and had been given the pill. Naturally, as smart as she was, Wun Siu Lan immediately figured that Wun Fan must have been unable to help himself and had taken the pill. She just didn’t expect it to happen so soon.
However, she wasn’t foolish. She figured out that Wun Fan had probably taken the Soul Revival Pill, but she also knew that he wouldn’t want her to tell his father or the great elder. Wun Fan would hate her for it.
“I see…there really is no one that knows me better than my sister.” Wun Fan chuckled awkwardly. Sometimes, he felt that Wun Siu Lan was a little too smart. He couldn’t hide anything from her, which could be a little disarming. Dumb women acted smart, smart women acted dumb; the smartest women knew when to act dumb and when to act smart.
Mm, so Wun Siu Lan ought to be acting dumb now.
“Stupid brother, didn’t you promise me that you would let me by your side to watch over you? How do you think I would feel if anything happened to you?” Siu Lan threw a punch at Wun Fan, almost giving him a black eye to match her red ones.
One kid kept crying and sobbing and the other kept apologising; on and on they went for almost an hour. Finally, Wun Siu Lan’s sobbing came to a stop and the little couple sat together in each other’s embrace.
They hardly looked like a pair of siblings.
Wun Siu Lan’s breathing got heavier and her tense body slowly loosened. Her soft weight pressed against Wun Fan’s body. The little brat had fallen asleep and was using him as a mattress!
Wun Fan couldn’t get angry at all. He looked at the girl in his arms and felt his heart ache. This girl hadn’t slept at all since she heard about what happened to him. She had been taking care of him all this while, being even more concerned than Wun Ching Yeung or the great elder. She must have hardly slept in the past three days, or she wouldn’t look this tired. Moreover, she was just a ten-year-old girl. She had never taken care of anyone before.
What else was there to ask for when he had a sister like this?
Wun Fan was pinned against the ground, but he tried his hardest to keep his body from moving too much between each breath. His hand stroked Wun Siu Lan’s back gently as if putting a baby to sleep. This was the first time in his two lives he had met a girl that cared so much for him.
Wun Fan might have a combined life experience of over twenty years between his two lives, but he had never been involved in anything romantic. He had no idea what to do. Moreover, Wun Siu Lan was his sister. This was a rather complicated matter.
Wun Siu Lan might behave like a mature adult and speak with intelligence far surpassing someone of her age, but at the end of the day, she was still just ten years old!
Wun Fan patted Wun Siu Lan on the head and felt his heart warm. A short moment later, he realised something; something very important.
It was the first month of the year and in the middle of winter, but martial artists like the two of them weren’t afraid of the cold at all. A long robe was all they needed even for the occasional snow. The two of them were so close to each other now that Wun Fan could feel the softness of her body.
Wun Siu Lan’s face was pressing against his own. He could feel how smooth and flawless her face was, like the first snow of spring. She was well-developed for a ten-year-old too; Wun Fan could feel her chest on his, making him feel a certain type of way. Moreover, his hands had somehow found their way around Wun Siu Lan’s thigh and her waist. He felt the taut muscles of her legs and her slender waist. He could feel his heart rate go up.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
Wun Fan could feel his blood rushing to his face too, making it hot and red. For some reason, little Wun Fan in his pants was also starting to react. Wun Fan wanted nothing more than to dig a hole in the sand and hide in it. He was eleven, for god’s sake!
An angel and a devil appeared in Wun Fan’s mind.
The devil chuckled lustfully. “What are you afraid of? You are brother and sister in name only. You have no blood relations.”
Wun Fan replied firmly, “No, I am a proper brother. I will do what’s right.”
The angel flashed a sweet and kind smile. “Your sister is lying to your right. So, yes, you will definitely be doing what’s right.”
Wun Fan hastily chanted the Iceheart Mantra, chasing away the devil and the angel in his mind. He tried to distract himself. Heart as cool as ice, calm in the face of pressing breasts; the material brings me no joy; little Wun Fan be a good boy.
Trouble always came when you least wanted it to. Wun Siu Lan woke up at this very moment. She wiped the saliva off her mouth and realised that she had fallen asleep on top of Wun Fan. Her saliva had wet his chest and she felt a little bad about that. She hastily stood up and stepped back with a satisfied smile on her face. The pearly-white teeth when she smiled, her raven hair that reached her waist, her short but slender figure; all of it attracted Wun Fan irresistibly.
This disastrously beautiful girl was even stretching now. Wun Fan could catch glimpses of her little breasts under her robes when she raised her arms.
Gulp.
Wun Fan gulped really loudly and it caught Wun Siu Lan’s attention. She quickly put her hands down when she saw Wun Fan’s burning gaze on her. She pretended to be brushing the dust off her robes to her embarrassment.
She blushed and said somewhat shyly, “Why didn’t you wake me up even though I was lying on top of you?”
She didn’t expect Wun Fan to give a completely unrelated answer. “She raises her hands and turns and I see it; that enchanting flash of white beneath the cloth…”
Bright-red colour crept up Wun Siu Lan’s face when she heard this. She turned as red as an apple, all the way down to her neck. The girl in white could only lower her head, brushing her hair with her left hand and fiddling with her clothes with her right. Her bashfulness was plain for all to see. However, when she lowered her head, she could see a little tent on the lower half of Wun Fan’s robes. She might be a young girl, not even a teenager yet, but naturally, someone as mature as she was knew what was going on. She slapped Wun Fan in the face and ran away in embarrassment, leaving behind only two words, “You pervert!”
“I’m the one at fault?” Wun Fan clasped his stinging cheek in disbelief. Who’s the one doing all the flirting?
Sigh. It’s all the fault of this body. I’ve never heard of an eleven-year-old that could get so aroused.
It was six in the evening soon. Wun Siu Lan had servants bring her food to Wun Fan’s dwelling to have dinner with him. She thought about making Wun Fan soup herself, but she wasn’t in her best condition yet. It would be bad if she accidentally added poison to the soup. Mm, it would be bad if she accidentally poisoned that pervert.
The two of them enjoyed dinner in silence. Wun Fan would put food in Wun Siu Lan’s bowl as an apology and she would return the favour by giving him some of her meat. There was a subtle hint of romance rising between them. However, the two of them didn’t point it out and simply enjoyed their time together. They hardly looked like an eleven-year-old and a ten-year-old when they were like this.
Once dinner was over, they had the servants put away the dishes and the two of them started playing jadechess. However, Wun Fan was clearly not Wun Siu Lan’s opponent. He was being absolutely slaughtered on the chessboard. Yep, it was definitely because Wun Siu Lan was just that good at chess.
Soon, it was ten in the evening and Wun Siu Lan finally left in reluctance. After all, she wasn’t in the best condition either and needed some rest too. However, before leaving, she made sure to remind Wun Fan to be careful over and over. She even told him that she wouldn’t forgive him if something similar happened again.
The young girl gave the boy an endless stream of reminders before leaving. Wun Fan’s heart felt warm and full. He tidied his clothes slightly after returning to his room, then turned to walk towards the back mountain. It wasn’t as if he didn’t intend to tell Wun Siu Lan that his strange condition had been cured; he just wanted to make sure that that was the case before he told her.
After all, disappointment wasn’t scary. What was scary was having hope in the first place.

Night winds brought mist across the mountain, idle stars smiled as they look down; silence and quiet in the mountains, not a sound between the woods.
Wun Fan enjoyed the mountain very much. It was a place where he could empty his mind and turn inwards to examine the minute changes in his body. This was the only thing that made him feel alive. He could sense two Wun Clan disciples standing by some trees when he walked into the mountain. Wun Fan wasn’t sure what they were doing, but he couldn’t be bothered to find out either. He walked to the lake in the mountain, where there was no one else present.
He sat by the side of the lake, resting as he waited for time to pass. At last, he chanted in his mind, “Old Lei.”
“Yes.” The ancient voice rang in his mind once more, “Kid, finally ready to set aside your lover for some training?” Old Lei’s figure appeared in Wun Fan’s mind. He smirked at Wun Fan. It was obvious from the look in his eyes that he knew everything that had happened to Wun Fan this evening.
Wun Fan blushed, but quickly frowned and scoffed, “Hmph! And what are you doing, peeking at a pair of youngsters, you old man! Don’t you feel any shame?”
Wun Fan suddenly felt his thumb itch. He opened his eyes and saw an invisible force emerge from his finger. It was a surge of dark green energy, which drifted through the air and slowly formed into Old Lei’s silhouette.
“Old Lei, you can come out of my body?” Wun Fan was surprised to see this. He couldn’t help but reach out curiously, trying to touch Old Lei’s body.
“What are you trying to touch, boy? I’m an old man, not some young lady at the brothel.” Old Lei disdainfully swatted Wun Fan’s hand away. Wun Fan was shocked to see that Old Lei’s mental power could manifest as something physical.
Of course, someone as young as he was had no idea what a brothel was. Probably.
“I don’t live in your body, kid, I live in the Spiritstartler Ring. My mental power has reached a certain level where I can manifest it physically and where it can interact with the material world. You should know that powerful martial artists with strong enough mental power are almost always capable of materialising solid objects.” Old Lei patiently filled Wun Fan in, teaching him knowledge about Heaven’s Martial World. He was fulfilling his duty as Wun Fan’s teacher.
Wun Fan nodded as he listened carefully. He didn’t want to miss a single bit of information. All this precious experience and knowledge were the things he lacked the most in this new world. He already knew the importance of information and intelligence from his past life. Only the most accurate information would allow him to complete a mission without a hitch.
The reason he died in his previous life was entirely due to incomplete intelligence.528Please respect copyright.PENANATEjFFZgk0j
