Why is it that romance is received so widely and marketed towards so many?271Please respect copyright.PENANA7NXB0DvgrL
It's pretty overrated but still, so many people idolise the idea of "true love," "finding your perfect match," and all that.
Meanwhile I'm here having the perfect relationship with my fridge, even though we're kind of living the minimalistic lifestyle right now... Hey, maybe I should start a food blog to get myself going, since I've lost a ton of weight and should start being bothered to cook meals... uh right, back to the topic. I've never been in a romantic relationship, and likely won't for a long time to come... but I feel like I should just for the sake of experiencing being in one... and to make content out of it (lol), though I would feel sorry for the other party (any volunteers? Requirements: be over 18, female (optional), alive (optiona- /j bro it's a joke chill-). On that note, I wonder how a person's type works. Personally, my type's changed from tsunderes to blonde haired tall women in black who likes to travel, has a fascination of legends and myths, is the champion of the region of Sinnoh... that's right, it's Cynthia... the side of her that appologises when she realises she's rambling too much about legends and myths but continues anyway is cute... And she's also cool beyond words-
Ahem. Anyway.
Have you ever been asked for your number by a stranger before? I've seen it all the time in movies, books, manga, dramas, you know. I never thought much of it until I was hanging out with my friend in the city one day and a girl approached him for his number. He nicely accepted, but never texted back lmaoo. I asked him if he's been in similar situations before, and apparently so?! Bro's been getting girls' numbers on the street while the only girls I get are the ones asking me for directions??? How does this work...
I really wonder what goes on in the mind of someone who confesses. I had someone who I really admired in my 11th? grade of high school, and I made it my goal to tell them "hey, you're awesome," before the end of the year, but I couldn't have the guts to even to that. Granted, we don't talk, so I guess it's a little harder.271Please respect copyright.PENANAQ0aXSCPRaR
Then again, I can't say much as I'm the ignorer-of-confessions-until-it-gets-awkward-and-we-don't-contact-each-other-anymore...271Please respect copyright.PENANAyee5fVT3GA

Flirting is something else entirely, though. It's especially fun when the other party is at a loss of words. Homosapiens of the opposite sex are scary, so I only flirt with my friends of the same gender, and mostly online as well. Though sometimes it doesn't end so well... well, that was one time...271Please respect copyright.PENANA77LnQOF9d4

Since most people on this platform seem to be younger than me, do I have any advice for you? Hmm. Before getting into a relationship, I recommend getting yourself sorted first. Learn how to read people; know when to do things without them explicitly saying. Ah yes, it's when the person yells at you to leave but actually wants you to stay. Also, be yourself. Don't go out of your way to specifically change your personality to what you think is your crushes' type. Sure, you can smile a little more, alter your appearance, but nothing too drastic. Be polite, but know when to say no. Also please avoid getting into relationships at a young age. Okay, that's it...
