Sam's POV
I got a call from Leon saying Alex is yelling 'Leave me alone' and 'Get the fuck out Xander and Leon'. I got into my car and I don't know how to fix this so I called Mason.
"Hey Mason", I said through the phone.
"You know it's 10 at night", Mason said
"Your sister is freaking out"
"My sister's what", Mason yelled through the phone.
I was pulling up into a parking space and ran into the building.
"I'm on my way", Mason said and hung up. I put my phone in my pocket and got onto the elevator.
A pizza guy got on the elevator and I have a feeling it's Alex.
"Can I buy that pizza"
"Sure that'll be $20.50", the guy said and I gave him the money.
I the elevator stopped on the 7th floor and made the pizza guy get off. I continued to the 8th floor and all I could here was crying and screaming. Shit someone broke Alex. Xander opened the door and I walked over to a screaming Alex. I sat the pizza box on the table next to the brown chairs. Alex has a really next place. Stay focused Sam Alex remember. I started to rub her back and she only crying louder.
"Get out of my head", Alex yelled and grabbed her ankles.
She pulled her ankles closer to her. I don't know what to do but I hate to see Alex like this. Someone was knocking on the door and Leon opened it. Mason was there and he looked like he was about to kill somebody. He closed the door and grabbed Leon by his collar and slammed him against the wall.
"What did you do to my sister", Mason growled out.
Man, that scared me I almost shit a brick my pants.
"I-I d-didn't do anything", Leon said
"What happened", Mason growled out.
"Xander a-asked her about her father and this h-happened", Leon said
Mason dropped him to the ground with a big thud. I didn't know Mason could get this mad. He walked over to Alex and I stepped back. Mason picked Alex up and put her on the couch. He started whispering in her ear and the crying got quieter.
For a boy that Alex hates he sure does know everything about her. Mason kissed her cheeks and started whispered in her again. Then the crying stopped she was just hiccuping. He looked up at us.
"Leave", Mason said and he didn't have to tell me twice.
Leon, Xander, and I all ran out of the room.
Mason's POV
I wrapped my arm around Alex's waist and kept saying 'Get out of my head'. Whatever happened when Xander and Leon were here must have said something that broke Alex.
"Alex remember he's gone", I whispered in her ear.
"Shut up", Alex yelled
"What he's saying isn't true"
"I know", Alex said
I just hugged her I don't know what to do I've never seen Alex like this. I didn't know he caused her that much pain. I know he had beaten her but I didn't know he said things like that to her.
"I always loved you", I whispered in her ear.
Alex stopped crying and just hugged me back and then I heard her snoring softly. I looked back and Alex was sleep. I think this happened from the lack of sleep. I carried her upstairs to her bed. I don't know why she bought this place her bedroom has no door it's just a floor. But then again this place does look nice and she's the only one staying here.
I laid her on the bed and this bed is comfier than my bed. I tucked her in and sat down next to her. Sometimes I wonder what goes on in her head. What does she be thinking about? I slid closer to her and laid down next to her. I got up under the covers. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I feel someone tossing and turning. I look to my right and Alex is squirming and has sweat running down her face.
She was acting like she couldn't breathe. I started shaking her and Alex gasped and her eyes. They were tearing up and her face had fear all over it.
"Alex you okay"
"Yeah I'm good", Alex said
She didn't look good. She's hiding something.
"You're lying"
"No I'm not just had a bad dream", Alex said and started wiping off her face.
"What was it about"
"I was being drowned by Langston and I couldn't come back up he kept pushing me back down", Alex said
Wait, a second that actually happened. I wonder if she knows that. I looked at the time and stood up. I looked at the time and it was 5:30am. I forgot she has school at 6am now.
"Bye Alex", I yelled and stood up.
I don't know where she's at and I still don't know what's on the third floor.
Alex's POV
I looked at the time and it was 5:30am. I got up and ran to the other side of my bedroom and got into the bathroom. I took a shower with the vanilla soap I picked up yesterday at Walmart. Then washed my hair I got out the shower and heard Mason yell 'Bye'.
I dried off and changed into some Adidas pants, white crop top, and white Adidas shoes. I ran downstairs to the kitchen and saw a pizza on the table in between the chairs. I opened it and no one touched it. I warmed it up in the microwave and ate half of it. I ran back upstairs and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my laptop and put it in my new bag. It's Donald Duck and put it on.
I checked the time again and it was 5:57am. I'm going to be late. I took my phone off the charger and earbuds off the kitchen counter. I grabbed my car keys and house keys. I ran down the stairs and got into my car. I know I might get a ticket but I don't need to be late.
I parked my car and students were just staring at me. I guess my car is too flashy. I stepped out and walked out into Bark-Ridge High. I went into the front office to get my schedule and saw a boy getting arrested. Wow,u and I thought this was a genius school but I guess I thought wrong.
