"Alright come on we have to go find her", Chris said
"Okay I'll call Xander"
"But we have to tell him about this", Chris said
"Yeah we should", Trent said
"Yes we will", I said walking out my room.
Trent closed the door and was went downstairs into my Audi. We all got in and before I drove off.
"Everybody have their seatbelts on"
"Ugh dad both of us do", Trent said
"Okay now we drive off", I said and took the car out of park.
I drove off to Meadow High to see Xander sitting on the curb. I stopped the car in front of him and he stood up.
"Son get in"
"Okay", Xander said and got in the backseat.
I drove off again and was just driving around in circles.
"Dad we're driving around in circles", Chris said
"I know that I don't know where to go"
"Alex said she needed something to drink and there are some bars nearby", Xander said
"Thanks", I said and drove to the bar near the hotel.
I parked the car and we all got out. I walked to the door and there was a bouncer at the door.
"Driver's license", the man said
"We're not getting something to drink just looking for this girl", I said and held up a picture of Alex off my phone.
"Haven't seen her and I just started my shift but you can check inside", the man said
"Thank you", I said and walked in.
Once I got in I could feel the bass from the music on the floor. I looked around there was Alex sitting there talking to the bartender I walked over there to her. I sat down next to her and she was still talking to the bartender. He had sandy brown hair and he looks like he's flirting with Alex. Alex reached her hand out and kissed his cheek. This has to stop.
"Yeah", the bartender said
"Oi Leon", Alex said and turned towards me.
"Alex come on let's get you home"
"No I'm talking to Benji here", Alex said and turned back to him.
He was giving her flirty eyes and she was following for it.
"Alex come on", Chris said and tried to pull her from the seat.
"No and can I get another drink", Alex said and kissed him again but this time on the mouth. I pulled her back once I realised she was kissing him.
"Your drunk", Xander said
That's when a man walked over and threw Alex's drink on the floor.
"What the fuck was that for", Alex said
"Alex go home I know you're upset but drinking and getting high isn't going to make you feel better", the man said
"Yeah it will it always has even when I was little", Alex said
"Alex you started drinking after your mother died and you were only 6 then and then once you were 11 you started smoking weed but you're 18 you have to handle it like a grown up", the man said
"It happened the night of my birthday of course what do you think. I saw my mum and my father do it when they were sad so I did the same thing", Alex said and shrugged.
She turned back to the guy and the bartender leaned in and kissed her. They were making out in public. They pulled back after a few minutes and I looked behind me to see my sons they're faces were red and they looked mad.
"Alex come on"
"Alex go", the man said
"I don't care but Benji can you get me another drink", Alex said and leaned forward.
She must have did or said something because his face turned red.
"Coming right up", Benji said
"Don't you dare give her another drink", the man said
"Alex come on", Xander said and he looked madder than Chris and then rest.
"Alex think about your mother do you think she would like to see you how you became", the man said
Alex stood up and towards me.
"Fuck off all of you", Alex said and stuck up the middle finger.
With that she walked off. I followed behind her and she was sitting on the curb with her head in her hands whispering something. Chris and the rest came out. They helped me carry her into the car. Chris and Xander sat on either side of her in the backseat and Trent sat in the front. I drove off and Xander started talking.
"Why did you kiss him", Xander said
"He was cute", Alex said looking down at her hands.
"You don't go around kissing every cute guy you see", Chris said
"Sorry I didn't mean to I just-just had an feeling that I should kiss him. I didn't mean to I'm sorry", Alex said
"Alex look at me", Xander whispered
From the corner of my eye I saw Alex look up at him.
"Tell e what's bothering you", Xander whispered
"My line of work", Alex said
"Why run and drink instead of telling somebody", Xander said
"Because nobody loved or cared from me after my mum died", Alex said
"What do you mean", Chris said and turned around in his seat to look at Alex.
"My father and brother didn't love me they hated me and wanted me dead but I still loved them even though they did. They may have treated me bad for part of my whole life but I can't help but love them no matter how much I say that I hate them", Alex said
"Well why do you run", Xander said
"I run because that's the only thing I think because nobody would trust me", Alex said
"What about the arrests"
"I turned into a life of crime I was a thief, con artist, pick pocketer and killer", Alex said
"Why didn't you get a regular job", Xander said
"I was 10 and my father quit his job and so did my brother so I worked", Alex said
"Why didn't you tell anyone", Chris said
"Because nobody believed me when I was 12 everybody knew me as a liar and thief", Alex said
"Why did you kill", Xander said
"Because like I said I didn't chose my line my of work my father did", Alex said
"Have you ever slept with anyone to rob them"
"No", Alex said
"Do you ever feel sorry for them", Trent said
"No never your not supposed to", Alex said
"Why not", Xander said
"That's saying your soft", Alex said
"What do you mean"
"That's just like giving a bully your money because you're scared he might hit you", Alex said
"Alex are you even drunk", Trent said
"Yeah and a little high", Alex said
"Well let's get you in the hotel", I said and parked the car.
"When are you going to kick Jamie out the house and take it back", Alex said
She must be a truful person when she's drunk.
"Tomorrow in the morning I guess", Leon said
Alex got out and I got out too with my sons. I locked the car and we all walked to the hotel. Alex was in front and she was sniffling. I walked over to her and walked beside her.
"Do you want to go to London to attend his funeral"
"Yeah I guess so", Alex said
"Already first thing in the morning after we kick Jamie out we'll get on the first flight to London"
"Thanks for your help but people are going to say and do things to me when we get there I just you to know don't feel bad for me I chose to act the way I did when I was little. So if you see me getting hit don't try and help I can do it on my own", Alex said
