Alex's POV
Leon and I walked out the bar. I saw this man on the other side of the alley and Leon tried to get closer to me but I just stepped away from him. It was Spencer the man that haunts my dreams and daily life.
"Have you recovered from the cuts", Spencer said walking towards us.
I stepped back and grabbed Leon's arm to pull him back as well. Spencer stopped a foot away from us. He reached into his trench coat and pulled out a gun. I immediately stood in front of Leon then Spencer pointed the gun.
"Alex what are you doing", Leon whispered into my ear.
"Run back to the hotel and don't stop till you get there", I whispered back.
Leon took off running out the alley and I and Spencer were just standing here. Spencer took another step towards me and I stepped back.
"Alex why do you look so pale have you seen a ghost", Spencer said
I took another step back into something hard. I wasn't a wall cause it's warm. I turned around and saw another man he held up a gun. He slapped me across the face with it. I fell onto the ground and tried to get up. I looked up and saw Spencer he kicked me in my stomach and I fell back down. The man hit me again but this time, everything went black.
Leon's POV
I made it back to the hotel but when I got to the elevator some man got onto it too. I was standing next to him and he kicked me in the knee. I fell on the floor and I looked up to see him taping up my legs. I started swinging at him but he punched me in the stomach. The elevator dinged and another man got on. They both picked me up and got off the elevator. The second man put a blindfold on me and I started squirming but it felt like I was being held down by someone very heavy. I think I'm in the back of a car it felt like we were riding for 20 minutes. I felt someone pick me up and was walking. I started moving my head side to side and the blindfold fell off.
I looked around and I was in a house. It was very nice everything looked priceless and expensive. The man walked into a basement and threw me inside the room. The guy from the alley dragged me by my shirt to the wall next to Alex.
She had a black eye and the left side of her face was swelling. She had a gash on her head. She had cuts all around her face and a scratches on her arms and legs.
"Alex are you okay"
"Yeah I'm fine", Alex said
"Now isn't that nice family love doesn't it just warm your heart", Spencer said
The man kicked me in the stomach and I groaned in pain.
"Stop leave him be just take me do whatever you want to me just leave him out of it", Alex said
"Thanks for the offer but no", the man said and laughed.
"Keep your hands off of him", Alex yelled
"I don't think Alex introduced us yet I'm Spencer and you are", Spencer said
"Alex's legal guardian now let us go"
"I don't think so", Spencer said
"Don't lay a finger on Leon you want me remember. Do whatever you want to me", Alex said and trashed against the handcuffs.
I didn't know Alex cared this much about us the way she acts. It doesn't seem like she loves or even care for us. I think me and Alex should switch places isn't the man supposed to be saying all those things like don't lay a finger on her.
"Okay I'm a reasonable man if you give me that money from in that house I'll leave you alone", Spencer said
"No you won't and you know it", Alex said
"Fine you caught me redhanded I won't", Spencer said and held up his hands.
Spencer walked over to me and slapped my face softly.
"Don't touch him", Alex yelled and her eyes were almost black with rage.
"I don't have to listen to you", Spencer said and kicked me in the stomach.
He started kicking me over and over again. All I heard was Alex's handcuffs rattling across the radiator.
"Kick him one more time and I will kill you", Alex growled out and her eyes were black.
She was looking down at the floor and Spencer just laughed. I don't think he wants to mess with her. He walked away from me and bent down in front of Alex. She looked up and from the look on his face, I think he looks afraid of her. Alex headbutted him and he fell onto the floor. She pulled at the handcuffs and pulled the radiator off the wall. Spencer got up and ran towards the door.
She put her feet on the radiator and kicked the radiator in half. Either her kick is that strong or that radiator was made in 1492. Alex still had the handcuffs stuck around her wrists. She walked over to me and touched her eyes. She had contacts on the whole time but how did she do it. She walked over to the table on the other side of the room. She took a knife off the table and walked back towards me. She had cut the tape off my arms and legs.
"Come on Leon let's go", Alex said
"But how did you put those contacts on"
"Years of being a con artist and a thief pays off", Alex said
I got up followed Alex to the table. She picked up her bag and walked out the door. I followed her and she put her finger over her mouth. We walked up some stairs to a door and Alex unlocked the door. She looked out the door and motioned for me to follow her. We walked up some stairs and ducked behind a couch. This man has 2 living rooms one upstairs and down. Spencer sat down on the couch and was watching t.v.
"I wonder how long it takes Alex to calm down", Spencer said
"How about we go check on her an one hour", another man said
"Alright but what if she escapes", Spencer said
"Then we go after her again and plus she lives here with that new family she would never leave this country", another man said
I followed Alex up another flight of stairs. She walked into some room and closed the door behind us. She walked over to the computer and started searching something up online.
"The next flight to L.A. leaves in a few minutes", Alex said
"How are we going to get out of the house"
"Easy the window", Alex said and pointed at it.
She got up and went under the table and attached something into the computer's wires. We walked over to the window and her eyes were just wandering around the backyard.
"Okay first you'll lock the door and I'll break the glass and then we'll land on that trampoline", Alex said pointing at the trampoline.
I walked over and locked the door. I walked over to the window and Alex wasn't there and then I looked out the window. She was standing there on her phone calling somebody. I looked at the window and closed my eyes. I might be in my early forties but I'm afraid of heights. I landed on the trampoline and I opened my eyes and saw Alex sitting in a taxi. I got off the trampoline and ran towards the car. I got in and the taxi man drove off.
"So who were you calling"
"Xander. Chris, and Trent to get your bags and get to the airport and get 5 tickets to L.A.", Alex said
"Okay well then I have a question"
"What is it", Alex said
"How did you get those contacts in"
"It was pretty easy when Spencer started kicking you I had some in my pocket so I bent my head down to put them in", Alex said
