Leon's POV
I don't know what's wrong with Jamie she was so happy to help a kid in need. But when Alex got here she wasn't so happy about it. So she asked her sister to come over for some odd reason. Saying something about I can transform her into the perfect daughter and ladylike stuff like that. I told her she was raised different and isn't going to change because of her history.
I helped Sam get Alex to her room and explained to me on the way what happen to Alex.
"So she'll be okay when she wakes up"
"Yes Mr Storm she'll be fine but when I leave Xander said he'll take care of her", Sam said
"Thank you so much, Sam, for being here to take care of her. I love her too much", I said giving Sam a hug.
"Well just to let you know but you didn't hear it from me she loves all of you. Just not Jamie for some reason but she won't tell me why", Sam said
"Well Jamie doesn't like her either says something about how she's not lady like and has trust issues"
"Well that means she shouldn't like me either I have trust issues", Sam said
"I guess those are books in the bag"
"Yeah Alex told me after school she was going to get these for you guys to understand her better", Sam said and gave me a bag.
I looked inside the bags there was a British English to American English dictionaries.
"Well I should give these out you'll be fine in here by yourself"
"Yes sir I'll text you when she wakes up or tell you when I'm about to leave", Sam said and I left.
I went downstairs and gave out the books to the boys. Since they all were sitting around the living room. That's when Jamie came in and sat the seat far away from everybody.
"Honey why are you sitting so far away"
"No reason", Jamie said
"Sorry, mom but I have to ask this because I know everybody's thinking it. Do you like Alex?", Chris said
"Umm", Jamie said
"Its a yes or no question we all need to know", Chris said
"No then I don't like her", Jamie said and Chastity came down.
"Hey everybody where's Alex my mother said she would like to speak to her", Chastity said
"No but tell her to come down", Jamie said
I don't there house is being renovated. I doesn't take that long because she can hire someone to do it in one day. Wait a minute they live in a penthouse so how are they getting renovations. Jessie came downstairs and sat next to Jamie.
"Jessie you live in a penthouse so how are you getting renovations"
"The penthouse is getting another floor added", Jessie said
"I run a building business so I can help you finish that floor"
"No thank you Jamie wanted me to stay over", Jessie said
"Okay"
"Mom why don't you like Alex we all do she's like a sister or in dad's view like a daughter", Xander said
"Jamie I was thinking about actually adopting Alex so she could live with us"
"No we're not adopting her and since you need my signature to so no adopting", Jamie said
"Why we like her and she like us too mom", Chris said
"Actually there is a way I can adopt Alex without your signature also her birthday is coming up in a few months and that would be a great present to her"
"No she's not like the daughter I dreamed of", Jamie said
"What kind of daughter are you dreaming of"
"I wanted a overly depressed girl with no parents and then change her into a happy young lady. But instead I got a poor street rat with only one parent and maybe a brother", Jamie said
"Mom she maybe a street rat but she's not poor. She has a lot of connects with the underground world the men that helped her out. Two of them had on a 5 billion dollar suit and the other one had on popular stuff", Simon said
"Of course she's poor she was in a foster home", Jamie said
"Actually she wasn't she was at her school and lived at home. The social service didn't tell us nothing because they have nothing on her"
"I'm done with this talk and mom you need to learn not to judge people. Dad I'm taking my brothers out and we'll be back tomorrow. Xander he'll go get Alex and ask her if she wants to come", Chris said and got up.
"Hey son I'm coming too", I said and went upstairs.
"Fine leave but don't come back until you say sorry for leaving me", Jamie yelled out
"I'm not you forgot your basically poor without me I make the money"
I changed into a black business suit with a red tie. I went into Alex's room and saw Sam sleep next to her. I walked over there and tapped him on his shoulder.
"Huh", Sam said and sat up.
"Sam me and the boys are going to leave. Alex has to come too we're leaving Jamie"
"I'll help you get her to the car and I'll get an extra long limo and can you pack up her clothes"
"Yes sir Mr Storm", Sam said and stood up.
"You don't have to say sir or Mr Storm can me Leon"
"Yes, Leon and let's get Alex down now", Sam said grabbed her feet.
"Also don't let them touch her neck", Sam said
"Alright let's move her", I said and up under her arms.
We carried her downstairs and laid her on the couch. I went back upstairs and packed a couple of clothes and another suit. The boys were walking downstairs while I was walking out of my room.
"Dad what happened to Alex", Tyler yelled out
I ran down the steps and looked at him. He was about to cry and was holding her hand.
"She's fine just sleep but Sam said don't touch her neck"
"Okay we all here", I said and looked around the living and counted 9 including Alex.
"Well let's go I called a limo service to drive us"
I helped Sam get Alex to the into the limo and he gave me her Elmo bag. I put all the bags in the back and climbed inside after my sons got in. I rolled down the window.
"Hey Sam you can sleep here but lock the door after you leave her room"
"Thank you, Leon, I'll be sure to lock up and also tell Alex to call me when she wakes up", Sam said and stepped away from the door.
The limo drove off and Xander was holding her head on his lap and her foot moved a little.
"Dad I think she's going to wake up", Xander said
Alex then sat up but her eyes were still closed. She put her feet on the ground and started talking. I think she's still sleeping.
"Mum they're coming", Alex said
"Mum don't say that", Alex said
I think she's dreaming again about her mom.
"Mum don't talk like that the ambulance is right outside", Alex said and started crying.
"Don't kill her-", Alex said and started screaming.
Her eyes shot open and she started hyperventilating. She looked around at us and her breathing started slowing down.
"Where am I and what is this", Alex said touching her neck.
"Alex we're in a limo and going to a hotel"
"Oh shit not again", Alex said pulled the thing out her neck.
Simon and Tyler got up and ran towards Alex. They hugged her and she hugged back.
"Thank god you're okay", Chris said
"Alex I missed you-you looked so lifeless when you were sleep", Tyler said
"Sleeping needle... that means Alexander shot me. That man is quick to shoot anybody", Alex said muttered
"I missed you guys too. I hate it being that world", Alex then her phone rang.
"Yeah Alex here", Alex said through the phone.
"You found out who put the hit on me", Alex said
"Wait she put it out on me that piece of shit I'm going to kill...
