The wind whips with vicious force around you and your two companions, sand and dirt swirling dangerously close to your eyes. You squint through the terrible visibility, one hand held up in front of you in an effort to shield them even slightly.
Strung together by the ropes secured snugly around your waists, you walked on, praying silently that the cords would hold, and you hadn’t accidentally lost a person in the sandstorm.
Ahead of you, the blurry form of Law turns and points further towards the direction you were currently trudging. He yells, the words getting snatched away by the tornado-esque winds. But you get the gist of what he was trying to say. Possible shelter ahead. It’s barely discernible from this distance, but thanks to Law’s sharp vision, you begin making your way towards it.
A building, dark and imposing in the flurry of sand and storm. You take many steps closer before you’re able to see what it even was, and it’s only thanks to a few key details that you can tell. The shape of the steeple and the thick, now sand-swept stone it was constructed of…it couldn’t be anything else.
Careful not to lose your footing in the gale-force winds, you turn and wave at Zoro. He acknowledges it with a raised hand, and the three of you continue on towards it.
It takes longer than it typically would to reach the structure, thanks to the sandstorm raging around you, but with luck and a whole lot of determination, you make it to thick wooden door. It takes all three of you to pull the heavy entrance open against the strength of the wind, but with the last of your leeching stamina, you manage it. The door shuts with an echoing slam behind you, cutting off the wind the moment it closes.
The rush of the deadly wind outside was distant, but the fact that you could still hear it so pronouncedly meant that some part of the building was exposed to the elements. Here in the vestibule, you were blessedly enclosed by four sturdy walls.
All three of you exchange glances, looking clearly disheveled and tired after your 3 hours trek through the desert wasteland that had once been a prosperous town. There was little left over from those days. The durable stone structures of important governmental buildings held on the longest against the elements, but even they, eventually, would be buried beneath the sand and dust and dirt of the earth. Nature was patient with it’s reclamation.
In the eery stillness of the church, you untie the ropes around your waists, dropping them to the floor now that they weren’t needed. Once you left the shelter, you’d need it again, but this place offered a temporary respite.
A look around the place made it apparent that the vestibule and nave were the only portions of the building that remained safe from the violent winds. The stained glass that had once decorated the walls of the wide open space had long ago shattered, but someone at some point had sealed the openings closed with brick and mortar. The darkness was oppressive, but at least it wasn’t killing you.
You’d found better places to stay before. This church wasn’t much, but…given the circumstances, it would do.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“This place sucks…”
“At least we’re out of the storm.” Law retorted with little patience for your green-haired companion, sitting cross-legged to your right. “That’s better than the alternative.”
Zoro only grunted, acknowledging the point but obviously not happy about it. He pokes at the haphazard stack of wood you’d fashioned into a pit of fire. With a ring of broken stones around it, to prevent the fire from spreading, all three of you huddled around the warmth and light it provided.
The flames caused orange and yellow flickers along the walls of the nave, and you watched them dance in deep thought over the chipped fresco paintings on the ceiling. They were too ruined to distinguish properly.
What this place would have looked like back when civilization had still been intact, you are hard pressed to imagine. Back when the world hadn’t dried up and nature hadn’t swept the land flat with it’s terrible, terrible wrath.
Despite the difficulty in picturing this place in pristine condition, you still try. A hazy picture forms. The many pews filled with people, the rich, ringing bells during mass or some other celebratory occasion. Baptisms, weddings…you wince at the thought. So much of life you’d missed out on…
You feel a sharp poke in your arm, snatching your dazed attention from the ceiling to Zoro on your left. “What’s up with you?”
“Nothing, just…” You shake your head, trying to come up with an explanation of your spaciness. “…thinking.”
“About?” Law interjected, noticing your expression of deep concentration.
Your mouth opens, but all that comes out is a humored scoff. Again your head shakes. “It’s stupid…you’d laugh at me.”
Zoro pins you with a hard stare. “Try us.”
The seriousness in his expression sobers your bitter amusement, until even the tiny smile you’d adopted slid away into a thoughtful frown. You glance between them, before your eyes rose once more to the ceiling.
“You ever think about…before?”
“Before?” Law’s eyebrow quirked
“Yeah, just…everything that used to be that isn’t anymore?”
“Not really. Don’t see a point.” Zoro says with a shrug. He keeps poking at the fire absentmindedly, though you can tell he’s still listening. “Do you?”
“Sometimes.”
A thick silence permeates the empty, dry space. The crackle of the fire and perhaps this sudden melancholy mood is what prompts you to crack a tiny smile and sigh.
“There was just…so much lost. Everything that would be normal doesn’t even exist anymore, all it is now is running from one shelter to the next, finding the last bits of water out there…
"Even being together is different. So much we can’t do, that other couples could.” You say, head tilting in thought. “Dates, proposals, weddings, and all that.”
You miss the exchange of eyes between Zoro and Law, before they looked back to you quizzically.
“I even envisioned what I thought it would all look like; the white dress, all our loved ones in the pews, and a church…kind of like this one. Just…minus the dilapidation and with some stained glass windows, of course.” You saw with a sad smile, feeling the fatigue begin to weigh down your eyelids. You suppress a yawn and shift in place on the floor. “It’s just a silly thought, though.”
As you drift away into an uncomfortable sleep–there was nowhere in the church that would provide a comfy place to rest–Law and Zoro exchange stern gazes.
As if they could read each other’s minds, they reached up to remove one of their own earrings, and Law stood to find something that would withstand the heat of the fire.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You’re disturbed from your slumber much sooner than you think you should be, and with a frown and a groan, you eventually blink awake, noticing that it was still dark save for the fire a few meters away.
“Hmm?” You mumble, finally noticing that someone was shaking your shoulder gently.
“Y/N. Wake up.” Law quietly spoke. “Come on, it’s important.”
“What’s important?” You rub at your eyes as you sit up on your elbow.
“We’re getting married.”
“Marri…what?” You blink, staring up at his face in bewilderment. Were you dreaming or something? “Did you say married?”
He nods, giving you a patient smile. “We’re in a church, no? That’s what people do in churches, after all.”
“But…” You’re at a loss for words as he helps you to stand, noticing Zoro already waiting beside the fire with a smug grin on his face. “Hang on a minute…what’s with the interest?”
“What, you don’t wanna marry us?” Zoro asks, clearly amused by your confusion. “Pretty sure you won’t find anyone else to do it with-”
“No, that’s not what I’m saying. It’s just…” You’re struck silent as Law brings all three of you closer together, the flickering light of the fire illuminating your faces. “We…don’t have rings?”
“Right here.” Law says, digging in his pocket and producing two golden objects in his hand. Upon further inspection, you can see they are crudely shaped. Definitely not the work of a jeweler and…where did they get these?
You look up, eyes somehow catching the tiny detail that…Law was missing one of his earrings. You swing your eyes to Zoro, who was also missing one of his. Putting the pieces together, you gently take one and twirl it between your fingers.
“I…don’t know what to say.”
“Well, I hope it’s ‘I do.’ If not, we went through a lot of trouble to make these for no reason.” Law chuckled, taking the ring from your fingers and giving it to Zoro. “Now…as for vows-”
“I promise to protect you, no matter what.” Zoro said, reaching out to grab one of your hands. “You won’t ever have to worry about getting hurt.”
“And even if you do,” Law jumped in, following suit and grabbing your other hand too, “I’ll be there to make you whole again.”
“Through sickness and health-”
“-through bad and good-”
“-you’ll never be alone.” Zoro concluded with a grin, sliding the makeshift ring onto your finger.
Law gave you another tender smile, pushing his own ring on your other ring finger. “And you’ll always have our hearts.”
Your heart thumps painfully in your chest, feeling the weight of the melted earrings that fit incredibly well on both of your fingers. This wasn’t at all the ceremony you’d imagined in your silly little daydreams so many years ago…but damn it all if this wasn’t all you could have asked for in the end.
Tears you don’t have the hydration in your body to shed sting behind your eyes, and you look between Law and Zoro-your husbands.“
"Well?” Law prompts, and it’s then that you notice them staring at you expectantly. “What’s your answer?”
“Don’t leave us hanging, Y/N.” Zoro chimes in, giving the hand he holds a little squeeze.
You nod your head emphatically, smiling like an idiot, no doubt. Your chest is heavy with too many feelings and your voice comes out coarse and breathless. “I…I do.”
“Then we may kiss the bride.” He chuckles, leaning in for the first kiss. “And maybe a bit more…”
~~~~~~~~~~
A bit more, indeed.
The simple, loving kisses from your new husbands lasted only as long as they felt ceremony required. But lips traveled quickly south of your own, peppering your neck, collarbone, and any exposed skin they could find with gentle presses. And at your encouragement and light gasp of excitement, when that wasn’t enough, your shoulders and breasts as your shirt fell away to the ground beside you.
Their shirts joined yours, followed soon after by pants and underwear and socks, until it was enough padding for knees to rest on the ground without fear of too much scraping.
Pressed in-between their chests, you feel satisfyingly smothered as they lick and nip at any part of you they can. You feel loved, worshiped, as their hands touch and caress your sides and hips and legs with fondness, with love. The world was a cruel place, but here in between your spouses, you couldn’t feel any of that.
Your hands pump both of their erect cocks, Zoro’s nestled against the cheeks of your ass, and Law’s brushing the hair covering your lower regions. They groan as you pleasure them, hips bucking of their own volition the longer you rub.
Your mind is hazy with lust, clouded over and spinning. While such sensations would typically be cause for concern of dehydration in the world you now knew, there was only an abundance of hot heat coursing through your veins. If this was to be your last night, well, wouldn’t this be a way to go.
Touches grew more frantic as nails scratched skin and teeth dug into shoulders and earlobes. It was rough, like the hands that began to pull and push you where they liked. Your moans echoed throughout the high-ceilinged room, sounding a chorus and a prayer all in one. If God still resided on this earth, you’d call it blasphemous.
You found yourself on your knees, bent low so as to comfortably take Law’s throbbing cock into your awaiting mouth, saliva providing all the moisture necessary for him to push his way deeper. The sound that rips from his throat as you lave your tongue on his length is guttural. You feel your chest tighten, along with your thighs.
Zoro’s hands settle at your hips, and with a few insistent pushes of his hips, he’s filling your core entirely. For several seconds, he’s still, taking you in and allowing you time to adjust to his size, but you’re blessed with the drag of his hips backwards and then a snap forward as he begins whatever pace he wishes.
Law snatches one of your wrists, Zoro the other, and it’s only with their combined strength that you stay on your knees as you’re fucked from both directions. Your pillars, your lovers, your companions and best friends. They supported you in all ways, now included.
It’s hard to breathe around Law’s cock, but you only moan for more, doing your best to reciprocate all of the pleasure that their gracing your body with. You push backwards into Zoro’s thrusts, taking him deeper, all the while eagerly sucking and licking along Law’s length in your mouth.
You’re shaking, the building of the mess of feelings in your gut growing and growing. You can only whine at the slowness, but it’s delightfully torturous. You wouldn’t wish for any different.
The frantic rhythm of Zoro’s hips increases, and you know he’s nearing his limit. Law’s other hand grasps onto your hair, a sign he too can’t take much more. Their ragged groans encourage that coil deep in your core to swell, to throb. It’s not enough and yet too much all at once, and your eyes roll upwards as it all compounds.
You’re shuddering and clenching your muscles as you cum, dragging Zoro with you by the way you clamp down onto him. His hips come to a halt, buried deep inside of you. He chokes out a grunt of relief, fingers digging into your hips painfully tight.
Your expression of pure ecstasy is what sends Law over the edge, painting the back of your throat white with his sticky seed. He pets your head gently afterwards, appreciative of everything that you do, everything that you are.
The three of you collapse as one on the pile of your clothing, warmed by the fire and the high of your marriage’s consummation. Your panting breaths are loud in the open space of the church, the wind still raging outside the stone walls of your sanctuary.
Inside the ruined little church, all is right. Heart full of love and the last vestiges of lust, you close your eyes and chase a pleasant sleep, held close by the men you most adore.
