I bought her a Lamborghini, of course I did. It is scarlet red and she looks gorgeous in it. The brand new Urus model, is totally practical, I promised her. And let's face it I enjoyed driving it home.

Once we finish I lay down onto the bed, looking up at the canopy and feeling breathless. Telling myself a gym session is needed again. I've been eating too many lemon cakes and pasta bakes. Drinking too much Italian wine. I gaze out at the morning sun, looking at the balcony and the vineyard that stretches out before my eyes. Happiness, for me comes in the form of waking up to Taylor in our very own Italian farm the sun glowing through the drapes.

The warm golden palette of the bedroom and the chic wooden furniture makes me feel at home. Forget having an en-suite, each bedroom has a large sized bathroom attached to it. I look over at Taylor lying watching me wrapped up in the sheets and smile. My wife and my baby. I'm going to shower with her, in our new bathroom. Dress with her, she needs more help with bump now.

It's traditional but it's totally unique and magnificent. Like an Italian spa. Two marble pillars around the bathtub, and a large open wet room with two huge shower heads. I turn the brass taps and the shower heads turn on. Water collecting on the cream marble floor and draining away.

I smile down at her, as she rests her head in my chest under the shower. I'm not imagining it, she's attached to me endlessly. I can always feel her on me and I love it.

I wrap her up in the fluffy towels from the heated rack and follow her into the walk in wardrobe next door. She pulls me along by hand, and I just watch her wet hair fall over her back. Dying to kiss her again.

She pulls a white tank top on, her tan glowing under it. I help her with her skirt, it's very warm today and even though we're going to be on a plane soon, Taylor is feeling the heat.

"I look like a beached whale" she laughs, pushing her waves off of her face. I pull a navy blue t shirt on, put my hair in a top knot and pull on some Levi's. I should probably have a haircut and a shave too, I just love the way she always has her hands in my hair and for that reason I've let it grow.

After breakfast, Taylor decides to take one of the lemon loaves back with us to the USA and to hide a bottle of our wine in the luggage.

I load the car with the bags and book parking. Taylor is in the babies room again, making sure everything is in place for when we arrive back here. All of the furniture sits proudly in the room, the cot and the snoo. Even the pram is up and ready to go. I purchased a rocking chair and a changing unit too and I imagine sitting in there rocking a baby to sleep.

Taylor has placed all the babies clothes in the dresser, and we even have a little wardrobe for when he gets bigger. All of the diapers and changing clothes are placed ready to be used. Bottles are in the kitchen along with a steriliser and pacifiers.

How I'm going to miss the olive trees, and the scent of lemons. The rustic feel and the charm. Even if this is just a brief departure, a temporary diversion from our Italian forever after. Italy agrees with her, her skin looks wonderful, the perfect shade of brown. The sun bringing out lighter shades in her hair. Watching her as the breeze pushes her hair off of her face, I think about being back in USA with her. I’m even more protective of her now. Unsure of how I’ll react if Matthew so much as enters her personal space. I’m not threatened by him, not in the slightest, my plan always goes above any of his.

Taylor’s admission exclaiming she would stay here with me forever, was a revelation for me. Not because I thought she didn’t love me, but more because she would leave her entire world for me. Her career, her friends, the places she’s grew up in and her family.

However I can't imprison her because of my insecurities, I care about her too much. I could easily sell cherry tree, but it would be silly not to keep the door open there. Firstly because of her needs, her need to be close to her own family. Her absolute right to have the choice to be there if she wanted. Secondly, it’s important to keep that option open for business. However the admission that she would sacrifice everything for me is enough.
