I look up as Jay walks back in with his shirt off and I know instantly by the way he glares at him, that this is going to be a fight.

Jay looks at me relieved that I'm covered and well away from him, purely because I know exactly what he's going to do. And he doesn't want to hurt me in the process. Matty squares up to him standing up and it's the whiskey confidence that spurs him on to tell him that I was with him first. I close my eyes briefly knowing that they will fight in their swim shorts in my bedroom.
