Looking directly out of the large windows, over past the fields and the swimming pool I breathe out steadily. Anytime away from Henry, even though he is merely asleep upstairs with his father, stresses me out. Especially when I know that Jay is about to leave for Dubai. So I'm running in our gym on the treadmill, picking up a good pace and sweating out all of the anxiety.

Twenty more minutes of steady breathing and sweating leaves me exhausted enough to stop. The only thing on my mind now is the Jacuzzi followed by laying in the bed next to Jay before he has to leave.

Firing up the jacuzzi and watching it bubble I pull off my gym gear and slide into the water instantly feeling my muscles relax from my workout. The past two days we have gotten ourselves into a routine, Ross is attending physio every morning at the hospital. Matthew or I usually take him as Jay works closing in on deals in his office. Henry has been shared between the four of us, which has helped me immensely to feel like myself again.

Pulling myself away from the jacuzzi and placing a wrap around towel over my body I head over to the door and begin to walk back upstairs to Jay. Feeling as though I’ve just left a spa, I remind myself that I must be the luckiest woman alive, who can jump in a jacuzzi every morning should she choose too.

“Mmm” Jay says softly as I stand in the doorway to our bed room, he’s sitting up in our canopy bed and I notice that Henry is fast asleep in the crib next to him. My hair falls in curly tendrils down to my ribs and I smile over at him, bare chested wrapped in the white sheets.

“Is wow” he smirks as I straddle him, I have been working out a lot, it’s become an obsession. My thought process went along the lines of; if he gets me pregnant again so soon, I need to lose a bit of the weight before I gain it all again. The sun filters through the sheer curtains around our four poster bed and I gaze down at his messy blonde hair pushed away from his face, biting down on his lips as he chuckles telling me that I’m cheeky. His hands push my wet hair back and glide down my back resting finally on my butt as he holds my hips into him.

Collapsing onto his chest, breathing deeply as I listen into his heartbeat, we hear the guys leave for the physio downstairs as he strokes my hair back. Jay had warmed up a bottle of my breast milk before I went down for my run and as I suspected it has settled Henry for a long morning nap. Resting my head on Jay, I stare over at our baby and how he’s sleeping soundly with his arms sprawled out above his head. Lips slightly parted as he softly breathes.

“Your mom is very good with babies” he smiles as I climb off of him, laying down before he kisses me and begins to get ready. I watch him walk over to the large dresser and pull on a pair of Calvin klein boxers. Pushing his hair back and tying it into a top knot he approaches both of us and kisses our foreheads before heading into the en-suite and showering.

Whilst I have the spare time, and Henry sleeps happily, I get myself dressed in a simple black camisole dress. Slipping on my sliders and a light oatmeal cardigan as the weather is beginning to turn. My hair has dried off into ringlets and so I tie half of it up leaving the rest to trail down past my shoulders.

Henry’s long sleep allows me the time to put on my makeup and spray perfume before he stirs. Spluttering and beginning to cry I shh him and hold him in my arms as Jay emerges from the en-suite.

We ordered the massage chair, Jay insisted, I laughed as it arrived telling him that I must be the most well kept new mom there is on the entire planet. I take a seat in the plush velvet fabric, flicking the switch as it begins to kneed my back. I relax and feed Henry.

Whilst Jay dresses, he smiles watching us, placing on his business suit. It’s navy blue and he’s teamed it with a crisp white shirt. I drink him in as he approaches us taking Henry in his arms and dressing him in a Ralph Lauren baby shirt and shorts. I smirk looking over his shoulder as he places on a little hat and long socks that look adorable.

Rather loudly and it shocks me that Henry doesn’t wake up I giggle slightly as he strokes my thighs and I sit on top of him with my dress hiked up.
