The water is silky, flowing over my skin as I grin wearing my Ralph sunglasses and pushing my slick hair back, the sun glistening through the water, rays of light shining through its depths. As Matthew watches me from afar, positioned next to Ross in the pool as the sun covers his hair like a halo. I can see his green eyes from here, never will they not penetrate into my soul. Even in the small moments, ones like these; an afternoon spent in the sunshine of Perugia, in our own pool surrounded by wilderness without any home or building for miles. Just depths of land and olive trees, the amount of ground we have covered to explore the surrounding area is unimaginably low. Still we are yet to discover the hidden natural beauty surrounding this lush landscape.

It's been two weeks, fourteen glorious days of harmony, peace and wine. The production of wine rather than the devouring of it on my behalf, although Rachel has had her fair share of vintage wine during the whole process. It was important for Jay and myself to get a good start on the winery before our Dubai getaway. Sometimes I forget that in Jay's mind he see's deadlines. The pressure on him is insurmountable and I can only hope that I manage to help him on his journey to becoming every bit as successful as his father.

Henry has been spoilt in having two grandmothers doting after him and his every need. Before having any children I had read that it takes a whole village to raise them and quite frankly I have been utterly privileged so far in having just that.

Rachel shimmies over to me in her coral bathing suit, I look down at the water up to my neck as I float and finally I realise that the water no longer reminds me of drowning. That I can relax in it without the haunting memories of Jay pulling me out of the pool before I collapsed lifelessly on the kitchen floor.

"So you guys are going to work on the distribution side of things" I smirk at her as she shakes her head from side to side, blonde hair waving around her shoulders. Christopher and Jay have discussed trialling the wine in selected stores in the US.

"You, silly" she smiles and I couldn't imagine even a moment that they might argue with one another. I assume he follows her every suggestion and she enjoys having him under her thumb. I watch as she wraps her arms around him before looking up at Matthew and Ross bemused.

"I’m sure you did amazing” I smile over at him, Matthew managed to secure his first shout in Rome. The nature of the shoot isn’t something we’ve discussed but of course everybody has been very happy for him. The company he works for have been generous, covering expenses including his stays which is definitely a bonus.

“Ross proposed to me just days before my wedding, we were in Australia. He got down onto one knee and asked me if I would marry him” I inform Chris as he gasps shocked and Ross sweeps his wet hair back.

“We obviously all worked things out.” I say watching Jay walk out onto the terrace in just his shorts. The sun gliding down his bare chest as he eyes me. A few online meetings have been keeping him busy this morning, I assume it’s all stuff in preparation for the visit to Dubai. He’s been less stressed and more focused since we have a plan set into motion for both aspects of the business. Claire, his mother has already travelled over to Dubai acting as COO in the company and that should buffer his absence among the board.

I remind myself that I’m living the high life my day consists of swimming my own pool and my evening consists of dinner parties with loved ones.

“Let’s get changed” I say to Rachel knowing that I will miss her dearly whilst I’m away. Stroking Jay’s back as we walk past the guys. He turns to kiss me, his hands stroking bump as I smile.

“Shall I wear that new one you bought me” I say softly knowing that is the correct answer, Jay has spent every single day making things up to me. This hasn’t only included buying stuff, genuinely the small things he does mean more to me than anything else. However he has purchased me a new gown which is a sheer black number. It sweeps down to the floor, the train is see through and shows off my legs which I know he loves. It is a Roberto Cavalli number and I plan on cherry red lips to complete it.
