"Are we going to be taking you to a casino" he giggles as I crawl up the four poster bed. Wearing a champagne silk nightgown that's new. Italian fashion is wonderful. The finest silk I've ever felt over my skin, delivered from Milan. The quality unmatched in the gowns I had purchased. All of them have wonderfully cut shapes, skimming my frame with a deep V that shows off my body.

Or to the Amalfi coast where Jay and I spent our second honeymoon. The options are endless really when you have several homes from home. I romanticise having a girl, brushing her long hair and putting her in dresses. Before I look down at my small tummy and beg myself to not get carried away. And pray that I don't lose another baby like I did with the first ever two children I conceived in my previous relationship with Matthew.

"Jay, I love you" I say earnestly as he chuckles holding my lower back as we drift off awaiting the sunshine of tomorrow, just another day amongst the others where we will spend waiting for our baby to grow. The days that will pass slowly and surely until we reach a stage where the pregnancy is deemed less risky. Until we both reach the point where I am noticeably pregnant and can finally relax.

The promised sunshine beams into the room the following day and I raise from my slumber watching both of the boys in my life snooze in past nine am. Henry clutching at his comforter and Jay clutching at me. The relief I feel, as I breathe in slowly feeling like my chest is finally beginning to feel normal again since my almost fatal pool incident, washes over me. Thoughts of that day I push away, determined not to think about Jay's sorry eyes that raked over my wet worthless body as I threw up the entire contents of my stomach in the sink. Now I chose to focus on how he holds onto my tummy and the teeny tiny human that is opening his eyes next to me. Henry stirs and before crying instantly he rubs his face with his palms fussing.

"There you go baby" I whisper as he watches me out of the corner of his eye. Bright blue eyes watching me as the curls of his soft blonde hair fall loosely over his forehead. Henry has been more vocal since getting just that little bit older; he has cooed at us and now he inquisitively looks at our faces occasionally. I decide upon dressing him in his light blue romper for the day once he's finished his breakfast.

Sweeping my hair so that it flows down my back I walk Henry down the hall to his bedroom as Jay proceeds to have a shower. Cracking the door open just slightly as the sun streams through the arched windows of his playroom which will eventually be his bedroom.

"Henry let's get you dressed for nanny" I say to him as he only coos back at me sucking his fingers. I place him on the large wooden changing table and he kicks his legs out excitedly watching me and making little noises.

Smiling down at him I begin to sing softly as I change his diaper and lay out his fresh clothes. Starting with a white vest and followed by the romper. Henry is growing before our very eyes, he looks more and more like his daddy every day. The resemblance to me lays in his eyes and the curl pattern of his hair.

“Morning” I hear from the doorway as it creaks open. Gazing up at Matthew as he walks past the crib and the rocking horse, the small bookcase that we built for Henry for all of his bedtime stories to come. Matthew pushes his hair back gazing down at Henry with love and care behind his eyes. His hand rubs my bare back just once before he collects Henry up in his arms. Hugging him into his chest as he looks down at me quietly. The sun playing with his hair bringing out the golden tones in his otherwise brunette locks.
