"Can you get this zip for me" she asks and I smile disregarding my shirt and the buttons. My hands resting on her bare back, moving the satin material of the dress aside as I cup her hip bones and she moans.

"When we get back baby" she whispers as I find the zipper, smiling in the knowledge that we will be returning to the apartment together and most likely spending the entire weekend together.

"Shes met you briefly and she practically squealed when I told her that you're my girl" I whisper and she relaxes perceptibly. Taking her hand in my own I guide us down to the elevators, my hand exploring her thighs as we wait and she giggles. Following her into the elevator, I hold onto her hips from behind and pull her into me, making out with her at any chance I get. Before the doors open she smiles wiping her lipstick off of my face.

The rolls Royce is the best option for another outing I decide as she climbs in and I start the car. She eyes me and I smirk driving us into town.

The rooftop bar is accessed via a set of elevators, the concierge presses the button for us and we wait patiently. The gentlemen, dressed in a top hat and coat tails signals for us to enter the lift and as the doors close she holds onto my hand.

The door pings and I search the bar for my mum. Spotting her over by the bar, I take Taylor's arm. Realising that my mum is alone without my dad isn't a revelation to me. My mother with her cropped blonde hair watches us approach, a huge grin spreads across her face. I hug my mother and she smiles.

Mom strides through the rooftop bar over to the windows which look out over the skyline, I follow Taylor placing my hand on the small of her back. The sheer material revealing the curve of her spine, she's wearing Chanel and I'm a sucker for her in a Chanel gown.

"Taylor you study dance at university am I right? Jay said you were very talented" Mum says smiling as she takes a seat by the window and we sit opposite her.

They get on like they've known each other for years. We talk about university and a little bit about work and Dad. He's promised to see us both by Christmas but he's oh so busy. It doesn't shock me. My father does his job and that is it. He's not emotional, he's not family orientated but he does love my mum.

Over champagne and a selection of tapas, mum takes us on a journey of all of the places she has visited around the world and Taylor listens eyes shining full of interest. Her interest in Australia particularly evident as mum describes the beaches and the general chilled out atmosphere of the place. I pull Taylor into me as mum briefly excuses herself for another bottle.

"Right Jay, let's dance" Mum laughs standing before me at the table. I get up, I never refuse my mother, as Taylor smiles watching me. I kiss her before I leave for the dance floor and she smiles at me encouragingly.

"I'd love that" she says smiling up at me. And finally I begin to feel like I'm getting somewhere in my life because of her. Her influence and guidance and mostly her love. I always felt like I was drowning in my emotion for her. Now however, the intensity of that feeling even though it is somehow even more, instead of drowning in it I am floating with her. Adept to the feeling of her love.
