Rachel bundles into the house and I sigh, time alone with Taylor finished for another evening. I nod at Nate as he passes by. He shows me a bottle of brandy and I smile at him. Rachel sounds off to Taylor before she even enters the kitchen, going on about the dresses before she's even seen them.

When I enter the kitchen Rachel is already pouring out the Prosecco and rummaging through the boxes that they ordered. The dresses are hanging upstairs, Taylor insisted on that, but she won't let me see her dress until she is in it. I'm intrigued. As always she will look amazing and way out of anybodies league.

I glance at her now, my T-shirt hanging off of her, it reaches her mid thigh and I imagine my hands underneath it, just like they were earlier. I look over at Nate who is lounging on a stool, gaping at Taylor. Her hair swaying down her back as she's cooking. I don't blame him of course, I've been there. All the same he turns to face Rachel and smile encouragingly at her as she pulls out different bottles of tan.

Setting my hands upon two glasses I retrieve the brandy from him. Pouring him a neat shot and one for myself as Rachel clasps her hands excitedly and it makes me jump.

Taylor places the food in front of us and I smile at her brushing her thigh as she passes me. I'm not entirely sure if she realises the sex appeal that she possesses. She must recognise how much other guys stare at her. She had quite the effect on Ross this morning when she got off of my bike. I have to keep him in check, and I'm doing that by being present in our relationship and maybe a touch clingy. Laying on the PDA. I hope she realises just how much I will be touching her tonight.

“I got that feeling when I arrived yesterday” I add and he nods moving the conversation onto university and the gym as I retire into my own thoughts. Telling myself that I must keep myself in check tonight, that means no punching anybody, not even Matty. No comments, no scraps and certainly no fighting. My hands will remain on her all night long. I've lost count of the number of times Matty and I have scrapped with each other, hit each other and hospitalised each other even.

Rachel and I head upstairs to mine and Jays room. She marvels looking into the bathroom as we go. She rolls her eyes at me and I wait for her comments. About the views over the lake, this wing of the property has outstanding views over the water.

"I'm showering first" I stick my tongue out like a sister would to her sibling if they were arguing. Leaving her in the four poster bed I take myself into the en-suite and sample the new body scrub. It does a fantastic job of prepping my skin for the tan that I apply after my shower.

I enter the bedroom glowing in my bathrobe as Rachel jumps in the shower and I set to work on my hair. I’ve opted for a seriously bouncy blowout tonight and once my hair is successfully voluminous, I set upon mg makeup. Sitting at my dresser and giving my skin a glow to match my tan.

With my black floor length gown hung up I position myself on the stool next to Rachel and create her eye makeup using a palette. She smiles when I’ve finished and I retire to the dressing room to slip into my lingerie and dress. The soft sheen black gown glides on with its figure hugging shape and low back, I turn in the mirror and marvel at how it looks. Before slipping into a pair of very high louboutins and getting my small Chanel purse.

“Gorgeous” I say stepping out of the dressing room as Rachel turns in her white gown. It’s short, mini in length and long sleeved. The ruffles look nice on her as she gasps standing in her nude heels eyes appraising my dress. Placing in some hoops she swishes her straight hair and smiles.

My eyes travel over the entire thing and I can almost hear his voice declaring his love before I close the message and swiftly place my phone in my purse. I believe him, I can feel how he feels about me and I can't change his feelings. Gazing at the jewellery box on my dresser and imagining the ring I have still in my possession, how it sits on my wedding finger and how I could just glide it back on at any moment. I was set to be his wife, I think idly before grasping my phone and sending him a message.
