The sunshine streams into the room through the window and I smile; Jay is not awake yet. It’s the first time I’ve been able to admire him without him truly knowing. The blonde strands of hair falling over his face, his long lashes sweeping down as his eyes are still closed. The chiselled jaw teamed with his slightly pink cheeks. Taking one hand I stroke his face lightly and kiss his cheek. Then I settle for cuddling into his chest.
