After the x ray and the morphine, mostly the morphine I'm feeling much better. Jay has gone to get me some food from the vending machine. He doted over me when the Dr brought me back.

It's a hairline fracture, which is great news. I need to rest, elevate and ice for 48 hours and not use my wrist. It will get better and I will be fine. I will not be forgiving Tom ever however.

Jay pops into my room again with a bag of stuff, crisps and chocolate. He smiles and he hands me the stuff then he gets his phone out and calls a cab.
It's the best news I've heard for hours that we can go home.

He laughs along with me. The laugh doesn't however touch his eyes. His phone beeps and he starts collecting all of my stuff, my small bag and the snacks that he's bought. We walk towards reception hand in hand.

Once I'm naked he lays me down on our bed. Standing in front of me he undresses himself and I watch him taking in his whole body.

The new alarm clock is making a noise. Which is strange because I can tell it's still dark outside and I am not willing to get up. I move my arm to shut it up and then curse myself because of the pain.
