The lake house is impressive, when I was but a boy, I used to spend a lot of my time getting utterly lost in these walls. As I watch Taylor, holding her hand in my own, I guide her down the halls as she wears an expression of awe. It's something I hadn't dared to dream up before I met her; showing a girl my place. Seeing her expression and how her eyes light up however now it is something I couldn't live without.

There's one particular room that I feel is the first place she needs to see, being that we share this place now. At the end of the hall are two large embellished doors, and just behind them I remember the stacks of shelves and the many stories that live behind them.

"So this is the library" I announce opening up the two doors as she gasps. Taking a few steps forward as she looks from wall to wall speechless before turning to face me smiling incredulously.

"This is immense" she says softly before I release her to explore her new favourite room, I wouldn't be surprised if she slept in here tonight, taking a few steps as she walks inside deciding what to explore first. The classics or the more modern literature, I watch her keenly.

Her eyes rake over the snug area and the fireplace as I follow her around holding onto her hips. She's merely wearing my shirt and I watch as it sways over her hips when she walks, distracting me occasionally. I watch her peruse one of the aisles as I hold her body, taking in the scent of her hair and perfume.

My library contains old books and new books, text books and philosophy books. And a whole ton of fiction, right now we are in the fiction aisle as she lifts a finger over the spines of the books and pulls out a few options to read.

"Emma" she says softly and I nod baffled by the sheer amount of fiction that I own yet haven't read. It's almost as if I collected books subconsciously for years knowing that someday somebody like Taylor would read them all.

"Now for the next part of the tour" I giggle taking her hand as she clutches at her book. I guide her to the double doors and softly close them before we walk back through the hall and over to a seperate wing of the home. Mum used to name it our very own spa, I reflect on how she spent a great deal of time in here after the miscarriages she suffered.

"This is, now don't laugh it's kind of pretentious" I snicker looking ahead again at the double glass paned doors, just beyond them situates a gym, sauna, jacuzzi and a forty foot indoor pool.

"Jay you have your own library. I mean what else could you possibly have" she giggles as I open up the glass doors and guide her through the white foyer.

"This door here is the sauna" I explain as she paces to the end of the foyer gazing out at the swimming pool, surrounded by large indoor plants and wicker furniture. The ceiling and the skylights that allow the moonlight to shine over the water. It’s tranquil and peaceful, like a sanctuary.

“There’s a jacuzzi in there too” I whisper as she turns to face me somewhat awestruck, the jacuzzi is a new edition to the home although my dad made sure that it fitted in with the more traditional marble architecture of the pool. Taylor stares out at the views over the back of the property, the gardens and hills. A patio which has seen a few family parties and birthdays.

My hands trace over her shoulders, the fabric of the shirt collecting under them. My fingertips travel down her collar bone, over her breasts and all the way down to her tummy where I rest them.

“Of course although the grounds are secure, you can’t risk somebody stumbling upon your indoor swimming pool and state of the art gym” I smirk lifting the hem of the shirt and pulling it over her head to reveal her bare back. My fingertip traces up her spine and she quivers before walking into the pool, the water travelling up her body until she is fully submerged. Taylor flicks her wet hair back and I eye her unable to move. Frozen in my spot most probably gawking.
