The following day, Jay takes me to a home store where we look for extra pieces for the lake house. We end up buying far too much and I start forward thinking for the birthday party. I am going to need a lot of glasses for champagne.

He packs up the car, we took his 4X4 today, anticipating the luggage we would be driving around. Climbing into the passenger side I began laughing as it's practically state of the art. He turned on the heated seats and I was sold. I began explaining how driving the 4X4 into university every day would be totally acceptable. Sitting here now, his hand on my thigh as he drives straight through the motorway I do miss the Audi. I sigh how did I become so privileged? Coming from a middle class background where my family owns only one car to being with somebody who owns three for himself and two motorbikes is somewhat of a culture shock.

He drives straight to campus instead of heading home first. I glance over at him a number of times. Obsessing over his dirty blonde hair and how it contrasts perfectly with his tanned skin. His muscular arms in his white casual shirt. The first time I laid eyes on him I knew just how undeniably beautiful he was, I refused to acknowledge that at the time as I was very much taken with Matty. Unavoidable however it was that he weaved his way into my life. The first time he smiled at me, the first time he said my name were moments that I had to deny. He set my body alight. He challenged me and I was drawn in from day one. I believed that he was so far out of my league for his affections to last.

We walk into my dorms and I realise everybody is still very much asleep. I head into the kitchen and see Ross and Matty asleep on the sofas and laugh. I quietly collect the items that are mine. Jay is in my room dealing with the boxes. I hook the door with my foot and attempt to carry out my stuff when a hand grasps the door open for me. I look up at Matty and smile. He's shirtless and I look away quickly.

I head out to the 4X4 and place the box in the boot. Jay has been busy I turn as he walks out of the building carrying two boxes at once and I noticed he's shirtless too. Is it an unwritten rule that when moving stuff you must take your clothes off.
