The burgers are pretty tasty it's a testament to your cooking when your company finishes every last scrap of the meal you made. Perched on top of Jay's knee I finish off a few fries and he smiles looking up at me before Ross passes him the cigarette which is making them all high, putty in mine and Rachel's capable hands. Ross has eyed me a few times, but I can't blame him really with the way that I'm dressed. Jay inhales the smoke and I watch him before standing up and leaning over to retrieve my pina colada that Rachel made me. I sip it slowly sitting back down on his knee as his hands stroke my thighs.

"This is all going to get messy" Jay says to Ross as his eyes flick across the room at Jen. She made an appearance earlier, rather dramatically pulling Brad into the room in her clutches as the entire kitchen groaned internally.

Jen looks different with shorter hair yet still just as mean, her ebony black hair spiked into some short bob style. Wearing an all black ensemble that exposes tattoos all over her back. Growing tired of watching her and the drama unfold as Rachel watches on deflated, I turn around in Jays lap to face him. Surprise flits over his expression as I straddle him. Ross looks away briefly and necks his brandy.

Just as he's about to set his lips upon mine, as he's about to seize the opportunity to kiss me we both hear shouting. He curses pulling me over to the door and heading out through the porch. The cold air hits my bare skin when we're outside and I shiver taking in the scene unfolding on the lawn before me. Cars parked up around the house all over the place where our friends have driven to us for the party, and the dull street lamp illuminating the small basic garden. Blood stains Jay's hands, my eyes travel up to his face as Nate hits him square in the jaw. My stomach turns and I feel sick and angry at them both as Matthew pulls me into his chest.

Matthew manages to reverse the car out using the cameras and I glance over at him as he drives quietly through campus. Closing my eyes, I wait for the reassuring a&e sign, just hoping that Jay will wake up soon smiling at me like he always does and talking to me in his southern drawl. Feeling utterly responsible for this fight, had I of not got involved in the drama between Rachel and Nate perhaps this would not have escalated.
