The music is hushed as we dine together for the second time in one day, my mind idly tells me that you’re no longer casually involved with a person if you are eating with them morning, noon and night. Eye contact is a big deal within our little dating experience, often I catch his eyes staring into my own and forget all that I had been doing.

"That was incredible, I never thought I would like the fries just as much as the steak. You are gifted" he says smiling looking into my eyes as he places his knife and fork down. Standing alongside him, I perch on one of the upholstered stools by the kitchen island and sip my champagne. Never, had I imagined being wined and dined this much in my life before.

Before tidying up and placing all of the plates and cutlery into the dishwasher, Jay reveals a large chocolate cake that he had purchased for our desert. He sure knows how to make a woman smile, doesn’t he? I slip down from the stool resting my champagne glass on the side as I cut into the cake.

The thick chocolate glaze parts to reveal a rich chocolate sponge, I place two generous slices on plates and he smiles down at me before carrying them through the marble hall and back into the living space.

The moon, in its full glory, shines through the windows and you can even see how it’s reflecting light over the dark water. It’s practically an artists dream, having views that are continuously changing and interesting to the eye. Jay manages to get the fire going in record time, he stands back assessing it as I approach him from behind. He looks into the mirror above the fireplace at my reflection behind him and smiles.

“Hey” I smile at him, managing not to inspect my own reflection and fuss over my makeup, which is non existent after the adventures of the day.

“Lord, Jay you’re practically a model” I scoff and he laughs turning around and lifting me up as I giggle. Carrying me over to the cream sofa set, we almost trip over the footstool, yet he merely laughs and sets me down into the comforting plush fabric of the sofa.

“You know some of them, I’ve told you” I smirk and he chuckles placing a movie on and grasping the cakes. My phone vibrates on the side and he passes it to me, without checking the display.

Quickly flicking through my notifications, I catch up with messages from Rachel and realise the most recent one is from Ross. A stab of guilt passes through me as his message enquires as to where I am. It's a reasonable question considering that we live together and he hasn't seen me all day. I only hope he's gone to the party and isn't waiting for me to join him. Before replying I decide I need to check in with Jay, should he not wish to have people knowing we’re spending time together then I will tell Ross I’m at my mom’s.

"I'm absolutely fine with the whole world knowing" he laughs and so I message Ross back. Beginning with an apology for not letting him know my whereabouts. I explain that I’m with Jay, not expecting to hear back from him. Of course, Rach texts me within minutes of me sending my message and I assume that Ross is at the party with the others.

It strikes me that Jay messed her around a lot, over an extended period of time. Could he be doing that to me? Even though her message fills me with doubts, I consider that her intention was to look out for me and so I message her back thanking her for looking out for me and that I'll catch up with her soon.

He kisses me softly before pulling away and staring into my eyes.

Jay watches me biting his lip as I pull my jeans down to reveal my leotard and nothing else. Speechless, he gazes at me as I climb back into his lap. His eyes raking over my bare thighs and back up to my lips. His strong hands urgently pulling my body into his as I pull his shirt off intent on feeling his skin. Once I can see his toned chest I move my lips down him, kissing him everywhere. He moans his hands going through my hair.

"This is better than one of my dreams" he says smiling, having unrestricted access to his body is absolutely wonderful I realise as I cling to his chest and begin to trail my hands down to his jeans. Instantly he lifts me up and I smirk as he sets me down facing the window, I gaze out over the lake full of lust for him.
