Slowly, Jay steadily places me back down onto the ground. Like he cannot imagine not holding me, he grasps onto my forearms and looks into my eyes.

"When we come here, and it's hot, I'm taking you in the lake" he says and winks at me.

"The water looks nice" I smile gazing into his azure blue eyes and feeling lost and found all at once.

Taking my hand with a look of mischief in his eyes, he smiles and guides me further into the woodland, we pass bluebells, wildflowers and huge trees that tower over us. Just ahead, a wooden boat house sits proudly. With a large padlock over the two wooden doors, locking it up to keep it safe. Jay strides over to it, and as I'm about to tell him that he won't be able to get in he produces a key. I catch up to him eagerly wanting to see what's inside of the mystery small cabin. He opens up the lock and turns to me smiling.

"Want to go on the boat?" he smiles over at me, adventure and excitement behind his smile.

I glance over the boat and smile up at him. He catches my excitement and it sets him alight. It's an electric boat of course, a speedboat. Floating in the water surrounded by the decking, just waiting to be taken out for a spin.

"I'd love to, I presume it's yours ?" I ask him holding his hand.

"Yep" he smiles, unable to wait he hops in and then extends his hand out to me to help me in after. Holding onto him as I step down into the boat noticing the padded seating. His arms wrap around me, keeping me steady on the slightly rocking boat.

"Always Jay baby" I smirk and he giggles helping me into the seat at the front of the boat. The boat roars to life under his command. Placing one arm over my shoulder we set off into the now inky water as it parts guiding us through into the lake.

"There's champagne in the small fridge under the deck." He smiles over to me.

"Have some, think of it as a pre-drink for later" he suggests, I had completely forgotten about the party later. Losing all track of my life and all of the things I should remember whilst I spend time with him in our bubble is a common occurrence for me. He kisses my cheek, brushing my chin before I go down below the deck to retrieve a bottle of champagne and glasses. The room below contains all of the essentials, a fancy fridge, with a small kitchen and even places to sit and eat. I grab the champagne and two glasses from the cabinets. I head back up excited to see him and his blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Need to focus on the boat and you're enough of a distraction" he laughs as I huddle into his chest. Taking in the view over the lake, surrounded by the trees and open water. Jay kisses my forehead and I sip my drink.

"Jay" I say watching the sun slip down under the skyline.

"Can we skip the party. I understand if you want to go..." I begin tentatively as he glances down at me smiling. The moon makes its appearance from behind the trees and the lake opens right up so that you can see way over to the other side.

"Me too Taylor" he smiles bending his head to kiss me. It's a long kiss, we break away several times only to find our lips connected again. I want him entirely, and I promise it's not because he has a boat.

"That's a good thing really because I didn't want to just dock the boat and have to make you walk all the way through the woods in the dark" he laughs watching me as the moonlight sprinkles pools of light over the lake.

"So do you see in the distance" he points his finger and I follow it, to a collection of well spaced out properties. Large stately type homes surrounded by woodland, all with a large amount of land surrounding them and connecting piers to the houses.

"That's our one" he says pointing to the one we're heading in the direction of.

"Ohhh" I say realisation dawning on me that we're going to be staying together overnight.
After the initial excitement, my mind scrambles over the fact that I have no spare clothes or underwear, not even a toothbrush. I sip my champagne and wrap my arms around his waist.

"So are you Taylor" he says softly. Jay controls the boat and steers it to the dock at the other end of the pier. In one swift movement he gets off of the boat, taking the bottle of champagne with him which makes me chuckle. Extending his hand out for me, I step off of the boat and onto the long wooden pier that leads up to the home.

"When you smile like that and look at me, your eyes light up and it makes me happy" he says simply. I part my lips and we end up kissing right there on the pier, water calmly swishing around us. Moving my hair back he lightly grasps the back of my neck.

"Are you ready to go in" he asks before kissing me again, I nod to him looking up at the property. A modern building with a certain charm, large floor to ceiling windows surrounded by trees. I can imagine that all lit up, it would look exquisite.

"Hey, does anybody else know you have this Jay" I ask him looking up at the mansion perched over the lake. He takes my hand and guides me up the deck.

"Hell no, think of all the parties. It would get trashed" he laughs and I smile up at him, gleefully. Imagining the kitchen and what it may look like, whether it's a modern fitted one or a more traditional shaker style kitchen. Either way I'm sure it will blow my mind.

Jay makes sure that I manage the steps, there are many, with no problem. The wooden staircase is lined with shrubbery and flowers and it makes me smile. We eventually reach a large ebony oak door, Jay produces the keys smiling down at me as he unlocks the door and opens it for me to enter first.
An understatement would be to say that I am stunned, when really as I gaze over the chic open plan living space I am utterly enthralled. It's beyond expectation, I practically gasp turning to face Jay who watches me smiling. A cheeky grin that says I knew you would love this place.

"It's alright isn't it" he laughs as I take a few steps he flicks a switch and the blinds fall down electronically over the walls that are all windows allowing the homeowner to see right out onto the lake.

"We can still see out but nobody can see in" he explains as I stare out at the breathtaking views trying to fathom just how it would look in the morning. When the sun rises, I'm sure it will look all different. I giggle slightly when I spot the large flatscreen that with a view like that you just wouldn't need to watch.

"Jay this place is very beautiful" I say finally eyeing the parquet oak flooring and light heather grey walls completed with traditional coving and high ceilings. A fireplace with a traditional mantelpiece, filled with photographs. The floor adorned with a large fluffy modern rug in a light camel colour. Chandeliers and spotlights highlighting the space, and a linen sofa set completed with foot stalls and matching fluffy blankets and cushions.

"I'm glad you like it Taylor" he smiles as he waltzes me through the living space clutching the bottle of champagne.

"I'm cooking" he announces and if I wasn't so stunned by the interconnecting marble hall holding artwork and a large sweeping staircase up to the first floor I would have most definitely laughed. My heeled boots clink over the marble floors and I chastise myself for walking my shoes over the pristine white shiny floor.

Eventually the hall opens up to a kitchen which quite honestly is the size of my house. In keeping with the marble hall, it contains a marble kitchen island complete with a chilled wine rack. Like most expensive kitchens, it has been fitted perfectly with high quality materials. Modern meets traditional architecture in this kitchen with the open double stove which for me is a dream. And with the double sink that looks out over the grounds. The spotlights shed light in all of the right places allowing the space to shine.

Retrieving two glasses he pours me a glass of champagne as I attend to my shocked expression and attempt to bring myself back to reality.

"You'll love them now get to it" I tell him as he releases me from his all encompassing embrace. He connects up the sound system and puts some music on, he must know that I like cooking whilst listening to music. He is observant and I appreciate him.

I sway with him, getting utterly lost in his hands on my hips as he holds me from behind. I just about manage to oil the potatoes and smother them in herbs and spices before I lose myself to him entirely.
