University flies by, I spend the day with Jay. Ross settles his gaze on me in psychology, Jay's arm around my shoulder as I listen into the lecture. After we arrived together, Jay had picked me up from dance and walked me into the lecture hall telling me jokes the entire way. Ross' face was clouded with concern, yet clearly he knew better than to say a word.

"Hey would you like to go out for lunch" Jay asks me, we've been walking through the halls lost in conversation. I finally look up at him and he's smiling, his Ralph jumper tied around his neck loosely makes me laugh.

"I would really like that" I tell him. Confidently taking my hand in his he guides me towards the parking lot and we hop into the Audi together. As I gaze at him driving towards town I realise that I am utterly addicted to his company. I prejudged him before, thinking that he was cold and stand off-ish. That's not the case at all, actually he is very easy going, the way he brushes his hair back makes me smile and his grin tells me that he is happy spending time with me.

Jay takes me to a local Italian restaurant, I appreciate the small little venue and its open fire. The charm in the decoration and mostly the scent of proper authentic Italian food.

"Yes you've got to love what you do and then it will turn out great" I say smiling as he listens eagerly. We eat quietly and I marvel at how he doesn't look messy even eating pizza.

"You wanna bunk the rest of the day?" He winks at me, his eyes glow like he's just had an idea. He's impulsive and exciting and I find that I love that about him. Everyday is a continuous adventure.

Jay returns with one of the sweets from the counter which he hands me before I hold onto his hand and we leave the Italian restaurant together.

As he cruises the car down the highway I watch him. I would be lying to say that being driven around in an Audi by an older guy who looks like a model isn't something I'm enjoying massively. The more time I spend with him, the more I want him to be with me.

I laugh gazing out of the window realising that something is happening between us, something which could lead to us being together. Feelings intensifying, I gaze at him again.

The weather is mild today, the sunshine filters into the black out windows and I marvel at how we're already in March. Almost the start of spring and all things new. The green leaves adorning the trees making me feel alive as we breeze past a forest I don't know.

After some more driving into what feels like the wilderness we park up in a small unmarked car park. We get out of the car and he looks into the trees. Looks like we're hiking. I laugh looking down at my shoes. Heeled boots, that will just about survive this terrain, I mentally tell myself to have a spare pair of trainers around Jay at all times.

"Here" he pulls off his jumper as it's cooler and I take it.

I pull his jumper on and he stares down at me, lifting my chin and kissing my lips, before he locks up the car.
We start walking, me closely behind him. It's sunny and the trees are beginning to get ready for spring already. There's lots of wild flowers which I love, everything is just natural not overly pruned or kept.
Bluebells and blossoms, I delicately walk around it all while trying to not step on anything. He smiles back at me and grasps my hand before we start walking together.

The sound of water flowing nearby echoes through the trees and for some reason I get excited like a kid going to the beach and waiting to see the sea.

He guides me through the trees, into an opening which a lake runs through. I gasp taking in the views over the river, watching the water flow, with the backdrop of the trees and flowers. There's a small bridge which I want to cross and small benches for people to sit on.

"Jay this place is magical" I say feeling like a five year old.
"It's quiet and beautiful and different" I smile hugging him into me as he chuckles.

"I'm glad I remembered where it was, would have been a bit rubbish if I couldn't find it" He laughs looking down at me. Fuelled by his stare I pull him into me and kiss him as he wraps his arms over my waist.

"When I was younger we lived in so many different places. We had a home here, but my mum and dad moved around quite a bit for work. Often staying with me for months in different places. And whenever I came back I used to come here with them" he says softly.

"We weren't outdoors people but here we all liked" he smiles. I stare at him enjoying this new insight into his life. Something that is so mysterious and enigmatic about him is his relationships with both his mom and dad and I enjoy learning about him and his childhood.

We keep walking, hand in hand. And I reflect how nice it is to spend time with him, just us together. Without any interruptions or distractions. In a place that is special to him, somewhere nobody else has seen.

"My mum used to tell me when I was small that fairies lived here, and when I didn't want to leave and go home they would come out from there hiding spots. My dad used to get exasperated, he just expected me to do as I was told, but my mum always had a way of reaching me. And of course as I got older I didn't believe in fairies anymore but because she always made things nice for me, I always just did as she said" he laughs and I chuckle.
