“Matthew” I smile as he rubs my waist in our bed. My alarm blasts invading the peacefulness of our morning and I remember that we have university.

Looking down at my bare body he smiles and his eyes shimmer with happiness. After a lot of cuddles and kissing I leave the warm bed and head to the shower. I stand under it and let the water massage my back. Contemplating how I’m growing two tiny humans at once and how it’s a good idea to take things easily from now on. Applying body oil and slipping into a maroon cami dress, teamed with a cardigan which is loose I spritz perfume. Drying out my hair into loose waves I go easy on the makeup today before joining Matthew in the kitchen.

Matthew has made his best morning pancakes and I smile over at him shirtless in our kitchen. Wrapping my hands around him before I take a seat at the large oak table and tuck in.

“I am indeed” he laughs walking into the laundry room and grabbing a clean blue shirt off of the drying rack. I button it up for him as be watches me intently. I feel his arms around me and I smile. Seizing my lips in his own he kisses me passionately and I ruffle his hair.

"I didn't know, I suspected somebody came in but I assumed whoever it was left when they realised we were there. Then once we had finished I saw Jay across the room" he says a look of annoyance coming over his face. I nod as he carries my bags through the hall, eyeing my gym bag as I tell him that working out is totally okay during pregnancy. He smiles and brushes his hair back before we walk down our porch and over to the 4x4.

Matthew kisses me at the door to my lecture once we arrive at university together and I smile as students filter past us, he pulls me in closer before I go and walk up to my seat, Jay who is already here and sitting with Jane at the back eyes me and I ignore him, completely.
Setting my bags down on his chair in annoyance, I sit in my normal seat alone, shrug off my jacket and decide to place that on his chair too. I get everything out that I need opening up my tablet and reading the email about our special double lecture. I garner that the first two hours are normal note taking sessions on new topics and the last two hours are focused on our group work which will include time away to research.

"Hey Taylor” Ross says sitting down next to me I look up surprised imagining that he would not be in university so soon. Standing up briefly I hug him rather enthusiastically, my entire day seeming more manageable since he has appeared.

Smiling at him, I take his hand in my own when the lecture starts and squeeze it lightly. I wipe my eyes self consciously from the happy tears, attempting to pull my hand away but he keeps it. Stroking my tears away quickly his kind eyes looking at my own.

Ross guides me through the hall on the small break, we stand outside in the snow, me rested against the building as he smokes. I let him know that I’ve quit smoking and he smiles over at me.

"Ross I missed you, when you were in hospital" I say to him softly as he ditches his smoke in the small ash tray and hugs me.

"I missed you more than anything" he says looking down into my eyes his hands still placed just above my hips. I gaze up at him and wonder why my male friends all have to be so shockingly beautiful. For a while he just watches me holding onto me as I cast my eyes down, leaning against the building.

Jay strolls over to us in an all saints leather jacket and black Levi’s, a small grin on his face as he listens to Jane going on about something. Her hair is pulled back, and she’s wearing his shirt.

The lecture starts and Ross holds onto my hand again. I begin to wonder how I'm ever going to have boundaries around him. The problem is me, and I know that, as Jay walks past us up to his seat and looks at me pointedly. I look away sure that I’m still the person in the wrong.

The lecture continues and I switch on speech to text again. I lounge back in my chair, it is lunch time next and I’m already hungry. My head drifts away during the lecture thinking about everything other than psychology and our new group assignment. I finally look up when carter is ending his torrent of talking, seeing Jane in my direct vision as she stands in front of me at the end of the talk.

“Lunch” Ross announces to me and I smile as we walk out of our two our long psychology lecture. Joseph Quinn catches up with us in the hall just to double check I have a group to work with, he suggests I visit his Italian restaurant again and I stifle my embarrassment at his huge grin.
