His gun is instantly trained on the garage door and I am just begging for Taylor to stay put, stay hidden. I’m applauding her for clearly fighting him back down there and doing some damage. My heart thuds as I hear her steps pounding up the stairs and her accelerated breathing. Sensing her fear from her gasps and I shudder. Did he touch her ? I want to fix everything, I want to check her whole body and make it better.

He lunges for the key and in one swift move I grab his head and smash it into the kitchen counter. He drops his gun in shock and I grab it.
