We've used the marble kitchen and all of its fancy appliances. We've spent tons of time in our rain shower looking out at the view. We've even taken several walks through the gardens. The plan is to have a pool party for my birthday. Seen as we have the swimming pool and the space. In a month or so we will have stifling heat, and long summers nights and that's the best way I can imagine celebrating a birthday.

I've tried not to think about Matty, or to worry about him. But that has been impossible. Ive messaged Ross a few times to ask how they both are and have received back very short texts. We've decorated the dining hall today for guests as our friends will be over before prom. The hall has light oak parquet flooring, ivory finished fabric wallpaper in a floral design, three large rose gold chandeliers and is completed by our furniture. The new stuff. The new light oak table stands proudly in the centre of the room surrounded by a matching sideboard and console table. There's a bar complete with modern stalls at the far end of the hall which Jay has taken pride in stocking with champagnes, brandy and whiskey. And lots of liqueurs.

Since the prom is white themed I thought it only appropriate to adorn the hall with white and silver balloons. I managed to find a table cloth that fitted the oversized table, its white cotton. I've even set the table using, you guessed it, white porcelain tableware and fancy champagne glasses. I've put three vases of large white roses on the table too, after all it is prom. Candles have also featured in my table design, which I'm lighting now. They are lightly scented with vanilla and sweet pea and the beautiful aroma is already filling the hall.

Jay understands me, we've spoken many times about his mums experiences with miscarriage when he was younger. He's my rock in all of this. He experienced so much when he was younger, with his mum, and every time he catches me worrying we go for a walk around the grounds and we talk it through or he makes me a warm drink and we relax in front of the open fire in the living space. He's very good at both listening and ensuring I feel heard and then distracting me afterwards.

I've already done my makeup and my hair, I've gone for a half up half down style with cascading curls. I've pulled out curls to frame my face and added in a silver embellished tiara. It's prom, I'm allowed to be over the top. The tiara glistens under the lights of the chandeliers and I must admit it makes me feel like a princess. For my makeup I've gone for a nude, pink lipstick accompanied by a smoky eye. The pink has really made my tan pop and I'm happy with the results of hours of work. I've put on my white robe, opting to get changed when the other girls are here.

It’s a feature of the house, it’s grande and very large. High ceilings and windows which allow you to see out into the grounds.
