"My darling" Claire exclaims waltzing through the door in her trench and hugging me dearly, standing back she eyes the growing bump and smiles as I laugh and blush. I catch eyes with Jay over her shoulder, the broad grin on his face and an expression of pride. It's a work of a miracle that I managed to wash up and do my hair and makeup whilst Henry had been napping earlier. And further that I was able to change into the new dress that I purchased earlier from the mall, not many new moms can say that they picked up teething supplies and a Chanel dress in one outing. It was a splurge, but Jay is never concerned by money, Claire compliments me on the dress and smiles avidly. It turns out that I'm very much fitting into my new lifestyle driving my Mercedes around town and buying fancy designer items for myself. It's something that concerns me; both how quickly I have come to terms with throwing money away. And further that I am not adding to our financial situation and yet I am spending the money.

"Yes bump has grown, here I have a scan picture" I gush showing his mother. I fasten the bow on my gown and stand back watching her swoon over the small baby in my womb. Jay's hand brushes my back as he kisses my cheek and peers over my shoulder to take in the picture.

"We cannot be sure yet" I say as he nods proceeding to ask whether I would like to do a gender reveal. We hadn't found out the sex of our first baby. Preferring to keep it a surprise.

"It's something I'm open to this time around" I explain and he nods stroking my hair back as Claire hands him the picture before walking over to the bassinet where Henry lays sleeping after his eventful day at the beach and his afternoon of baby TV. His blonde hair swirling over his forehead as he sleeps with his dummy in his mouth.

"He is teething" I begin. Softly as she looks up. I settle on giving her a de-brief on Henry and his current situation before she babysits. Jay ogles the baby scan picture before holding onto my waist.

"He's been fine today with cold dummies and teethers. However I have given him some pain relief before his nap. And a whole feed, he's in his pjs already oh and..." I begin as she looks at me softly and Jay proceeds to go and get ready, placing his briefcase on the table before he heads upstairs.

"Wonderful" Claire says stroking my arm softly as I gaze down at Henry in his sleep suit. Jay steps out of the hall having changed into a pair of smart navy chinos and a white button up shirt. Eyeing his slicked back hair I smile reminding myself of our phone call this morning and blushing.

"Thanks mom" Jay laughs as he grasps the keys and I follow him out to the hall wondering what car we will be driving around in. It's wild that we have that choice.

Penthouses that are several storeys high require you to use the elevator whenever you wish to leave. Situated out of the main home and down a highly decorated hall is our elevator, for the sole use of our house. It leads to a private car port which contains all of the vehicles. Jay presses the call button and the doors open up in one swift motion, he motions for me to step into the large carpeted elevator first before he follows me in. His eyes watch me as he presses the silver button for the car park.

The elevator lulls and begins to descend almost instantly his eyes lock onto me and I smile. Wrapping me up in his embrace he eyes the dress and grins.

"It's beautiful" he whispers in my ear as I sigh, his hands play with my hair as he presses up against me in the lift. His cologne strong as he kisses my ear.

"Right now in the elevator" I blush as he undoes his zip and smiles. During our antics we end up travelling up and down twice in the elevator from our home and to the parking garage before either of us realise the door has opened and closed again. Fortunately it's our own private elevator and so we do as we please in it without interruption.

"That was rather impulsive" I giggle as he presses the button once more for the underground parking and the lift lowers for a final time to the car port. He blushes turning to face me and kissing my lips.

"Car roulette" he laughs looking at the doors open up like a spaceship. I climb into the beige upholstered seats and sit back as he practically straps me in.

"You are completely correct, I do like buying cars." He giggles before walking around to the drivers side. The white steering wheel is a nice touch, however despite the absolute luxury I find myself watching him start up the car and thinking about all of the times we spent at university together when we wouldn't even dream about riding around in luxury cars. Or certainly it wasn't something I had on my list. I glance down at my wedding rings thinking about the time he rescued me stranded in the snow with Ross who had fallen off his bike. How he used to be, and how this aspect to him spending lots of money has always been there. How I ignored much of it whilst we were falling in love.

"You okay" he whispers over to me as he reverses the car out and turns us around to the entrance. The Ferrari lets out a high pitched screech as he turns it and revs the engine. As if it wants to eat up the road, the car lurches to the gate.

"Yes I didn't realise how low to the ground Ferrari's were" I say softly and he nods indicating out of our drive and heading toward the glittering lights of town. The many skyscrapers all set alight like beacons.

"That's not my point" I say as he balks slightly watching me, before rubbing my waist and the little baby bump, I'm gaining weight quickly. I had imagined whipping myself back into shape before falling pregnant again. However the continuous and natural gain of weight straight after my first birth, due to being pregnant again sometimes makes me wonder whether I'll ever be small and dainty again.

Most of the buildings seem to be built on tall structures in Dubai rather than on ground level. There are many high rise buildings, it's practically hell for any person with vertigo.
